As a spurs fan, I'd like to see how Son performs in Richarlisons position. Son as of late has performed better as a striker as compared to a winger.

@@brenorodrigues9754 no but ever since 2020-21 season harry kane dropped deep a lot allowing son to go into the striker position from the wing to score goals, this is where the kane son duo started
@@abdihassan2426 this is true but you’re missing an important part of it. Just before kane drops deep, son is on the wing. When kane does, did :’(, drop it would drag a CB out of position, son would then make a diagonal run towards the centre and kane would more often play the ball through the gap the CB left. Without kane dropping in and drawing the defenders out, it doesn’t create that passing lane for the ball onto son. Essentially son up top making runs in behind would result in balls over the top. Not what Ange is going for

I have watched Spur's first two games of the season and have to say Spurs look exciting.
I haven't seen a game where we played so good in defence, even our passing was superb. Hopefully we can make a few more signings before the transfer window closes. COYS

The Richarlison should be kept in mind. As the manager said, Richarlison is not Kane/ When Kane was present, the team's tactical goal was to pass to Kane in front of the goalpost. However, now all players shoot confidently with various tactics. Richarlison needs to find his role different from Kane. The manager doesn't think of the glory of one player. He only wants the team to win.

We also need to remember that Kane in many seasons started scoring late on. That did change in recent seasons, but then Richy is at the start of his career with us, relative to the Kane's length of stay. Richy gets a goal and he comes good. Also liked that Ange said the team were not feeding Richy well in that first game.

토트넘 평균나이가 2~3살 내려가서 피지컬, 체력이 예전보다 많이 좋아지고 감독 스타일이 예전 감독들 보다는 공격적이라 일단 토트넘 축구가 재밌어졌다!!
what a performance from the boys. first half was fairly equal but after the first goal went in we dominated the game. it was a team effort which were hard to come by last season with harry kane still with us. everyone performed well but vic, porro, biss, sarr, madders and sonny were standouts. no one had a bad game, even richy played well, i know he didn’t score but he never got the chances to do so and sometimes his build up play was harry kane esc with some of the passes that he played today, the goals will come naturally in this system but we have learnt that he doesn’t have to score 20-30 goals to be r number 9 as everyone gets in on the goals. so far our goal scorers have been defenders and midfielders😅😅. still areas to work on but that will come with time. this was a statement win and shows we’re going places with ange. in ange we trust❤️🔥. COYS💙
Problem last season was the players were made play around Kane, now everyone is getting focused on.

Son is simply a delight
I have always watched Tottenham Hotspur football games with nervousness. Even when they were winning, I felt anxious, and even in victory, the stress of watching the match made that day quite different for me. However, this Manchester United game finally unleashed all the built-up stress from within me after a long time. I don't mind if they lose; I just want to see a refreshing play.
Hottenham Tottenspur benefiting from the departure of Kane, as I always suggested.

I can confirm that Celtic have been playing lots of these types of passes for the last 2 years.
Another favourite is the centre forward in a massively offside position, ball gets moved wide quickly, then centred to the no longer offside striker.

I think Rashford was the biggest problem we had in the game ... Yeah! I said so.. He is the only player who doesn't press, mark or tackle and yet gives away 85% of balls in his possession.. The sad part is, he does that in every successive games but get overlooked each time he scores.

Was at the pub watching the game and I overheard the guy next to me saying Deki get on your left, and I had said he really needs to learn and trust his right foot, Deki then crossed it with his right foot for the opener by Sarr 😂
Sarr also hit it with his left foot, and since Lucas Left foot Hatty vs Ajax and Onana I will be watching how many left footers go past Onana
