Edit #2 for comment above, $269.00 - $358.07. It was European and they use the comma (,) instead of a period (.) at the end of the whole dollar/Euro amount. Edit #3 it's Rosenbauer* Group. I misspelled Rosenbauer.
That was a Microtech Ultratech. It is an automatic OTF (out the front) knife, which is classified in legal terms as a switchblade. Many states have lifted restrictions on them, though not all, so check the local laws if you plan to travel with it. The Ultratech is considered by many to be the benchmark that all over OTFs are measured against. There are better knives, there are worse ones, but perhaps none to prolific in the niche.
I own a pair of bison leather Minnetonka moc slippers. Bison leather is the best leather I’ve owned. The leather just gets better & better (smoother & more comfortable) the more you wear them. I’ve had them for 13 years & they haven’t worn out or torn in any way. The shoes will only fail once the rubber sole wears through. The best part is the Minnetonkas aren’t that expensive. They’re cheaper than Uggs & the Minnetonka sheepskin slippers & shoes are FAR better + they tell you when they use fake/artificial crap instead of trying to cleverly pass it off like Ugg. The best way you know Minnetonkas are better is people in Michigan Wisconsin Minnesota etc all prefer Minnetonkas. They’re sold in most rural clothing & supply stores.
Leon Mexico may be the location that is supposed to have the best leather workers in the world. The only other place that can compete is Spain. US, Mexico, and Spain seem to be the biggest producers of beef culture.
I think the Blanek boot is either a new release from the benchmade line or they changed the name to “Stilwell” because that boot looks very very similar to the Stilwell boot on the website
@@rosshaverlah8368I bought the chisos #2 and returned them right away. I wasn’t to impressed for the amount of money they cost and the looks so I ended up buying the ariat bench made full quill ostrich and those were fire af! 🔥🔥. Go with bench made bro trust me
My biggest problem with ariat and why I won’t buy them is that they don’t make them in the USA at some point there needs to be a cut off for made in china. The benchmarks are better since they’re made in Leon
Very good on feet review. If I may ask, what is size pants you wear and the type of fit they are (straight, bootcut)? Trying to get a scale of sizing pants for myself. I don’t want the shaft to be too visible when I wear my cowboy boots.
I’m a professional country dance teacher. I know boots. I can tell just by 8:26 the way it creases when you bend, you need a half size smaller. If it’s too tight, you need wider, not longer. Just saying.
@Roseanvil2 - love your in depth reviews, how do Rokker Urban Rebel boots fare in terms of construction? any other recommendations for good motorcycle boots?
Yes, some people wear cowboy boots year round. A little warm for me since I don't ride horses and I don't prefer walking in them as much if I'm going for a proper stroll or hike. I guess the shorter height ones would still be OK, but I don't use the pair I have very much because they are not especially "stylish" with the square toe and fake leather lowers. [Yes, they ARE Ariat, too. Overall the brand seems OK FOR THE PRICE or whatever...] [That first pair he shows cut apart might be same model unless they changed a bit or swapped a new name...]
I think Tony Lamas were nicer overall for about the same price then. I don't know if I can get them rebuilt to fit larger if I still have the uppers in about new condition or if they would not stitch right.
Exotic leathers are gorgeous, but when would I ever WEAR it? [I guess I'd like either of those two, but prefer the less square toe and probably darker shade.]
You wanna carry that dinky little knife as your EDC, that's up to you but you get into an argument, cops get called, they find that ....😊 Things could get interesting. Just saying....
$1,569 for gaudy boots that make you look ridiculous. No thanks. I'd way rather spend $1,350 on the Guidi Rosellini boots you looked at in a recent video. At least they'd be useful and practical on a regular basis. But there must be a market for ostentatious cowboy boots. Maybe I'm just not a cowboy boot guy. Where I live, no season is cowboy season.
Last day for 25% off Rose Anvil Fathers Day sale here - bit.ly/4bYZM50
Can you ask Rosenbaur Group to try their Boros firefighter boots? Apparently they cost something like $20,000 and up. 😅

Nice video and pretty boots! I especially like the bison one but all three are pretty

I think I'll quit drinking shellac
The Alligators you could wear with a tuxedo. They are like a cowboy boot version of Gucci dress shoes.
I am trying to decide between the Ariat stillwell in brown bison vs Chisos #2
I have the bench made bison roper and I wanna say that the quality just about matches Chisos.
@@metalplague89 thanks for your reply. I rrrreally shouldn't pay twice as much right now, if the Ariat is quality

Perfect timing
Boulet cowboy boots cut in half/review someday? I want to see some canadian brands
Please look into the Ariat lookout boot.
Flashing your alligator skin at them....of the boot!😈
When are you doing a pair of fenoglio boots. I love those boots

😂😂😂😂😂 it’s cowboy season all year long for me
Gonna ask my other half if she likes my alligator now
Could you do some Rujo boots?
Let’s see the new JK and Nicks western style boots. They are very intriguing.
Been thinking of getting a pair of boots that i don't have to tie every time I put them on. But I also have tiny ankles. So i get weary.

I like the Clanton. Can I have them for ...work? Nice PU leather.
Knocked loose drip drip
Would it be possible to cut apart a pair of Boulet cowboy boots? Thanks!
Cowboy season for you. It's cowboy season all year long for me... a kid from Chicago...

Will any of them actually end up in your collection or they will all end up on the cut in half videos?
Wallet, phone, knife, keys, air pods... what about side arm?
Nice.

These seem to cost WAY MORE than the ones I bought years ago. They were about $150 then? [and do they still run small?]

I just don't like the look of the 10" ones [or shorter]. It's like, where's the REST of the boot I paid for? [But less than $300 now.]
It's spring for about two more days, anyway..............
My girlfriend Haley keeps dumping my weapons in dumpsters next door to schools. So I also lose knives but pistols as well

How did it take you a year to unbox these dude? 😂😂😂
The check only cleared a little while ago, be reasonable dude.

that was for all 3 pairs.
