- In this episode, you discover Rethymno with us. It`s the third largest city on the island of Crete, the biggest of Greece. History, culture, landscapes, people, touristic objectives. You walk on the narrow streets of the city and you discover the last bakery in Greece where the dough for Kadaifi is hand made. You find out the story of the place and of the people that made it possible for more than 60 years. You also meet the mayor and the vice mayor of Rethymno. And it`s just the first part of the story of Rethymno, Crete, Greece.

The World On Wave it`s about a dream. The dream of discovering the world with our sailing boat, a Bavaria 50, from 2006, named Perseas. We are Arina, Cătălin and Monarch, an eight years old doberman. We left behind our lives as TV news anchor and entrepreneur in the dance field and we are living on the sea.

sehr schönes vidio von rethymno, kommen schon 35 mal nach rethymno ,sind immer wieder begeistert . auch bei giorgos und katharina die backlava bäcker waren wir schon sehr oft und haben gestaunt was er mit dem filoteig macht, schön auch ,das der sohn die tradition weiter führt, brigitte u. achim

Very nice Rethymno! Am fost in aprilie-mai anul asta :) m-am indragostit de Creta, trebuie repetata experienta, pt ca 10 zile au fost putine :(
Intrebare: sunteti de aprox un an in Grecia, cum va descurcati cu limba? Ati invatat lb greaca?
Si noi suntem innebuniti dupa Creta. Iar Rethymno este în top. Știm doar cateva cuvinte si expresii, dar deseori intelegem ce spun ei, chiar daca nu ne putem exprima.
Distractie placuta la urmatorul concediu in Creta! Sunt atatea de vazut, de trait si simtit pe insula asta...
