I think that particular ukay shop you went to really does have fixed prices, it was the same one we went to and we didn't haggle. Another one of the ukay shops near the market is good too, bought good quality pants/slacks for 50 pesos each, and we could still haggle for the bulk. :) and definitely bring masks! I'm not super sensitive but it was almost a bit hard to breathe inside.

Just want to share interesting things about ukay ukay and tips for less time consuming shopping.
You can actually tell what's the sales person's taste in fashion. As sale personnel are the ones who arranges the racks, they always put what they think is the prettiest and most eye catching piece of clothing at the front of the rack. That piece of clothing actually represents what type clothing you can find on that rack.
Also, to be able to find colors that are appealing to your skin. Held up your arm parallel to the rack. You can easily pick which colors suites your skin tone as you walk along the aisles. If you find some, that's when you can check if the clothing suites your taste and can check if there are damages or staines.
And it is always good to check the lowest price or the ones on sale first. Lowest price doesn't always mean lowest quality.
Lastly, don't be an impulsive buyer. There are literally hundreds of good stuffs in ukay ukay but you must always think twice when purchasing something. Always think how you're going to use or partner it up with other clothing pieces first.

I love shopping in ukay-ukay stores. You really just have to be patient in wading through the aisles and browsing through racks. I've been to Anonas once and I could say that there are a lot of good finds there.
