Great video and information. The tornador is a great product for sure. Quality yes, pricey yes. To save some money I tried the HI-TECH Vortex II Cleaning Gun. Been happy with it. For $40 no complaints and its still working a year later.

he likely has ad-hd. I was diagnosed with it as a child and i can definitely see the difference in people around me, i talk / process information much much faster, but i spit it out as fast too, also you lose track of what you're doing a lot, or jump tasks a lot. Need that mental list and try to stick to it.
the worst habit i have is basically finishing their sentence in my head, and getting impatient waiting for them to finish.

Yeah the cheap one wares out in two months . The name brand one with ball bearing has lasted two years and still works perfect

The Tornador black is also pretty even as it has a metal insert been using them since 2015 and while that max is def better I like them all they really changed the way I detail
I kinda sorta had to give you a thumbs down sorry. Your comparison is unfair because there are probably 5 to 10 different models that you could compare to the tornador. I had a genuine one that broke after just six months of use. My generic version that I bought for $40 is more powerful than my Tornador ever was. I could only turn the genuine model up to 90 psi and my generic I can turn up to 115 psi. My generic version is going strong two years later with absolutely no problem and is made of all steel, no plastic parts except for the tank which is plenty strong by the way. So like I said you are not offering a truly honest comparison, you’ve chosen a very poor generic model to compare the genuine one to. Still like your channel and love your videos, just not this one sorry.

Propaganda. Tornador max is top quality, ask any detailer and you won't hear a bad thing come out of their mouth. Tornador max is a must have tool for professionals, hacks buy garbage and bill by the hour on low efficiency.
@@MarkSegree He wasn't saying that the max wasn't top quality. He simply stated his wasn't up to par and pointed out that this "comparison" was terrible. I agree, there are all steel-designed Tornador imitators that could have done way better. I said this before and still believe it, this was an ad, not a true attempt at comparing. I wish he would have actually compared something of similar build, all steel design, heavier plastic canister so on. Y-ASQA has several for around 50 bucks that look way better, and would have provided a good comparison.
Theres also a bunch or tornador clones out there that are built super cheap and are poor quality. Where did you get yours? What’s it called?

If the max is being used with more than 90osi, the unit will not last as long. Remember to keep your output on your compressor at 90 or below. That's with any tornador.

Also using chemicals other than the enzyme cleaners that are recommended for the tornador will cause it to seize up because of corrosion in the mechanicals due to the high alkaline of chemicals other than the enzyme type.
@@georgemyers6518 now the chemical part is where I messed up. I was using a ratio of 1:1 of totally awesome cleaning product in my tornador black and after a couple of uses it started to take a toll on how the pressure and air would disperse. Now I'm a only use the specific chemical for my tornador.

@@soulodoms8290 I always use distilled water when I cut the enzyme cleaner 1:1.
It’s easier on the mechanicals in the gun and cleans better as well because distilled water is pretty much the softest water available and it’s inexpensive.
Every dollar store sells it for $1.00 per gallon.

Terrible comparison using the MAX name as a reason for justifying this side by side comparison here. You can't compare a $30 generic gun to a $230 top of the line gun. Even Tornandors entry level gun with plastic insert doesn't compare to their Max version metal insert any better. There are several $30-$55 blow guns with almost identical external air connection swivel at the base of handle, metal swivel internals, thicker plastic holding tank, open ball on end of suction tube, ect. for < 1/4 of the Tornador name brand cost that give the same efficient results that a paying customer expects. Example manufacturers: GZ-KJM Y-ASQA / SGBC.
I agree, I looked on Amazon and found some that appeared to be comparable as far as build quality for 40 to 60 bucks. This was a worst vs best, not comparable but cheaper. There are plenty of models out their that would have possibly performed just as well as the name brand. Almost seems like an ad more than a comparison.
This was my first thought. It’s not an apples to apples comparison. The best of a name brand vs the worst of an off brand.
If the challenging tool is an entry level, you gotta go with the entry level of the current champ. Now, no doubt in my mind that Tornador will probably be better overall. But you can find competitors and knock-offs that are much much cheaper and give the same, if not close enough, results. If the off-brand is 5% worse, but I saved 50%-70% off the price, I can deal with that 5% performance decrease, and quite happily.
Of course there are other factors, like build quality. You just need to find that sweet middle ground where the quality is good or decent and the performance is close enough, while the price is easy on one’s pockets.

One thing I've learned is don't cheap out on tools!
This is why I buy snap on tools for my heavy diesel mechanic apprenticeship. I would rather buy something once rather than buy something 5 times
@holden2260 doesn't mean you have to buy snap-on, plenty of high quality tool manufacturers available these days that match or surpass snap-on at much better pricing.

As a professional, it pays to get professional level equipment. Our local supplier carries spare parts which makes repairs a breeze if needed.

The Tornador Max hands down is built with the detailer in mind as opposed to the enthusiast. The enthusiast can get away with the cheaper brand because it certainly wouldn’t be used as often or as roughly. Whereas the Tornador Max is built for everyday use and toughness for the detailer. With that said, a detailer that uses the Tornador for its intended purpose will use it longer and be more efficient versus the cheaper brand.

it can be used without the bottle. Only downside of that is, when you use it, your air flow pressure will not be as strong as in a blow out tool.
