Sure buddy I’ll put it on here comes the pain!!!! Starts beating up the old man
XD
lol hahahah he was bad at masking his excitement.
Very unprofessional Larry.
Classic Larry. He always cuts the guest off to get to the next point. Habit from years of being on time-constrained live TV I guess.
"N O W D O A T W I R L F O R D A D D Y"
This is awesome. This is like explaining Slipknot to your grandfather.

Gramps was very confused.
I feel like Larry King has probably never listened to any slipknot songs lol
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

Japjit Singh N. he's a condescending sack of dust. What do you expect?
“Yeah everybody has a differen-“ - “put it on”
Japjit Singh N. ikr
lol
I'm honestly surprised Larry didn't just go "and you're.. Corey? Right?"
true omg
"And a mask is a disguise that covers your face?"
@@gregoryo1903 It's perd hapley lmao
Yeah, this annoying and unwatchable sounds like some dumb boomer from 2003 talking about slipknot.
Don’t be a hater. The cool thing about Larry is that he is old and still interviewing “new age” talent and actually interested in it and he is curious about it and it’s authentic. He doesn’t know about slipknot but he is curious about it and learning about it and interviewing an interesting person. That’s what was cool about Larry. Rip.
Corey's voice is so deep and soothing. I could listen to him for hours.
He has audiobooks that he narrates and I love listening to them 😊😊
same
"What band wears masks?' "Slipknot does." *Barley a minute later* "We wear masks the entire show" "That's Slipknot, right?"
I seriously applaud Corey for being so patient with this guy.
TheRubbaRazza hey mah man Larry’s getting old aight, leave him alone
Seriously
He just wanted to make sure he's on the right track and doesn't confuse Slipknot with Stone Sour.
This guy? lmao
He’s 98 years old he’s doing the best he can
For all of you people wondering, Larry King researches and knows all about his guests.
He asks these questions so his audience (the over 50's demographic) can get the information.
To have Slipknot even mentioned on Larry King is awesome.
And yet he knows fuck all about corey, slipknot and stone sour and contradicts himself over and over again in the full interview...
martin cooper Did you not even read his post?
yes I did and yet he seems to know jack shit
good to know that mate , i was wondering why he didnt do any research about the band xd
I just watched the clip and Larry King came across as a underwear-shitting geezer... why do people always go into some stereotype character mode when confronted with something out of their circles? Is Larry King trying to tell his geezer audience to act like befuddled old fools when talking to someone out of your social group that you don't understand or fear? And I've seen some good Larry King interviews too.
larry : So, it's slipknot that wear masks, right?
Corey : Yes it is
later on
Corey : yeah we wear masks the whole show
Larry : That's slipknot, Right?
And that's within 2 minutes lol.
NightWolf2803 bro hes like a thousand years old
NightWolf2803 😂😂😂😂
NightWolf2803 lmao
NightWolf2803 FR
He was really trying to understand Slipknot instead of judging it right off the bat like 95% of those other hosts in talk shows. Larry was a great man, rip.
This sounds more like an interrogation than an interview.
Corey's voice is sick nice... deep, throaty, raspy... nice speaking voice.
keep it in your pants dude it's just youtube
Deep throaty…hmm
@@plutonium120 lolololol 🤣
You should listen to Phil Anselmos voice, in recent interviews
Pause
Larry King's mask is considerably scarier than Corey's mask.
Haha brilliant
Savage
Made with human flesh! Doesn't get any brutal than that!
yea did you know that if you skinned Larry King and ironed out his leather you could make enough Slipknot masks to give 1 to every Slipknot fan in America?
His is a "mummy" mask
Larry: So everyone in the band wears a different mask?
Corey: Yeah, ev--
Larry: *PUT IT ON.*
Larry King: that is considerably scarry
Corey: starts laughing like a mental case
"Do you plan on doing any other nutty things?" I admire Coreys patience with this man who clearly doesn't give a fuck this entire interview
+reniisgod Larry seemed like he was judging.
+reniisgod really sad cause Cory is very intelligent and gives amazing interviews..when respect is shown to him.
+reniisgod Yeah IT looks like Larry is not into Coreys image, but he is legend and very inelligent, also he respect sincere people and Corey is like that, they are actually quite relaxed both and Larry is little in his "own space". so it might give impression he dont give a F ! , but thats only wrong impression, Larry like rebels musicians !
+reniisgod Take it easy man, he's old, he's trying to understand which is better than not doing the interview at all and it shows he's really interested.

1:04 that laugh😳
Paige Livesay Larry King was right
Paige Livesay That's literally my laugh
I Love This laugh
It's corey, what did you expect?
@@freezingjazzy But what did you expect? Was it too much to protect?
I'm sorry hahaha
Larry: "That is considerably scary."
Corey: *demonic laugh*
1:02,my god that laugh showed the depth of his voice and how he is able to pull off those screams....E P I C ! !
his mask is based on larry king's face lol
lmfao best comment
slither42 You, I like you...
darkarrow7101 thanks, snot.
Buuurrrnnn!
😂 Call of the day.
"a lot of bands wear it for a little bit and then get rid of it" coughhollywoodundeadcough
Both bands are still awesome though :)
yea lol
+Havin Hadburger that's your opinion and I'll respect that
+David Charpentier They don't even wear full masks like in the music videos.
+Derrick Dietrich that's because they want to be heard clearer live because they don't have "mouths" on their masks like Slipknot
So awesome to have a member of Slipknot being interviewed by a legend that is Larry King. He does a good job at explaining to his audience who and what the person of the band is and what they do. So they understand who they are. And not get confused with Corey’s other band Stone Sour. Great interview
"Give a man a mask & he'll become his true self."
I'm from central Iowa, and as teenagers, we remembered what Slipknot band members had what tattoos on the only exposed portion of their skin, the neck, and hands. After leaving a movie theater one evening, we approached a gentleman whose tattoos looked familiar. Being the Nokia brick phone era, a photo was impossible seeing how nobody had a camera handy. Nobody would have believed us anyway since there weren't photos of band members to support our discovery those days. But upon pinpointing it was Corey, he was amazed that of all things that gave away his secret identity were his neck tattoos.
?????
Chase Poldberg Nice. I live in Des Moines, and I'm pretty sure I've seen Sid walking around recently. Didn't take a picture, but ya know, it's freaking Sid.
Their masks were essentially their Hannah Montana wigs - they were only Slipknot while wearing them but without them, they were just regular people who could blend in and walk among the rest of us lol
and you're... heath ledger ? right?
Well played 😂
Tagan Gizel beat me to it
Time travellers don't exist huh?
@Tagan Gizel it looks nothing like joker
Corey kind of does look like Heath Ledger but with blue eyes.
This guy is actually a good vocalist behind a good band.
This guy and his band will always rock. They never let me down. 🤟🤟🤟
"Are you preforming on halloween?"
"oh yea! in dallas" lmao i think larry was trying to make a funny there but BOOM lol
Dude. It's pretty fucking awesome hearing him say that because I am going! Lol.
its not coming near me :(
1:44 hollywood undead
Marc Bou Saleh yeah you right
Their my favor
Marc Bou Saleh I peeped that too
Those gaming freaks of Scotland they take off their masks because they want their fans to be able to see the face behind the mask. They want their fans to feel more of a personal relation to the band and the songs
except hollywood undead dont wear them the whole show. they take them off at some point
“That is considerably scary.”
That’s one way to put it Larry... 😂
I'm Brazilian and I think this is really fantastic. Very happy to enjoy the best band of our time
Larry King: That is considerably scary
hahaha
Not as scary as his shrunken zombie face. Ugh. The guy looks like death warmed over.
I've never actually seen a member of Slipknot putting their mask on before. I guess the magic is completely gone now.
I saw Paul Gray and Chris before putting their masks, they were painted black.
Rubens Gabriel for the most part. usually when it comes to wearing masks while performing the pain is put on any place where the mask touches the skin to prevent rubbing and scraping their faces while headbanging lol.
Travis Howell That's interesting. I thought it was just to look more like the mask is their face.
maybe in a theatrical way, yes, that could be the case. but i know behind the scenes the paint is to protect their face :).
not the magic! say it aint so!
One of the first video of Larry i saw. Rip Larry King
Bruh this is awesome I need this whole conversation
I like his old black-and-white one better
+Casimus Prime me too, this one looks like a generic halloween mask, but the old one was really original
+Chris Jackson agreed
his best mask was the subliminal verses one
I like his all hope is gone one
+Casimus Prime
I agree
He clearly has never seen Slipknot ever. Pathetic.
Roller Coaster Mania He researches the people he interviews before doing it. He only ask those questions for the viewers. Don't be so quick to spit hate all over the place.
Roller Coaster Mania his viewer demographic is easily swamped with people that are over the age of 50. if he didnt ask those questions there would be no point to the interview because no one would know who the fuck slipknot or corey taylor is and know one would know what the fuck slipknot is
+Roller Coaster Mania You really expect Larry King to listen to Slipknot? Jesus christ
+Roller Coaster Mania I'm with ya on that. Fuck all these other fucks.
+Roller Coaster Mania Pathetic for an 80 year old man to not listen to death metal? Lol
1:04 i love Corey's evil laugh
Rest in peace Larry, you absolute legend..
You'd think that in interviewer would research who they're interviewing.
"That wasn't weed shaggy"
+ColtTheGamer XD
How fucking painful is Larry King?
He probably does it's just that the questions are not for him. They're for the viewers.
He's asking for the viewers
What a cool voice
Its asmr
I love how Corey dodges that slight shade when Larry asks if they’re playing Halloween. “Oh yeah...in Dallas.” Sounds like he expected that question almost lol
RIP Larry I just remebered this weird interview, lots of laughs.
So Corey's new mask ironiclly looks just like Larry King...
I had to put my water down to applaud that as I laughed.
Omfg that was perfect.
HAHAHAHHAHAHA OH
Dude Corey looks like Randy Orton with his head shaved haha
Great interview Mr. King. Slipknot are one of my fav band. Love their songs and videos.
"That is considerably scary" mwahaha i love Corey's laugh 😂
''So how do they recognize you?'' Well, the internet? Slipknot has been around for 20 years.
Speaking of.. Remember when finding an unmasked picture of Slipknot members was the coolest thing ever?
Corey seems such a sweet guy, I just want to give him a hug 🤗
love the t-shirt !
will always love corey and the slipknot band i was named after corey taylor too my dads a BIG fan
Larry King: "Put the mask on"
Buffalo Bill: "It rubs the lotion on its skin..."
Corey: There is a mask underneath this mask.
Me: WOOOOOOOOOW
amazing dude
I love how Corey broke it down like a total gentleman
RIP Larry King
Larry king king of interviews since 1865
What I love the most of this interview, is the Dead Kennedys t-shirt on Corey
This is why I love Larry, he is not a snob. He will never look uninterested in an interview. He was always as interested and inquisitive.
coreys laugh when larry king said that was scary....EVIL!!!! MWHAAAHhha
His mask looks like it was carved from the extra skin on Larry King's muffintop
When he laugh aaaaaaw my gooosh❤️
Amazing person/band xo
Larry king: that is considerably scary
Corey Taylor: evil laugh
(Larry staring, arms crossed):
"Put it on"
Dayum Larry
he seems like such a chill guy lmao
Were gonna miss you Larry❤️
I love how the mask changes his voice just enough. It's like he's a different person when he puts it on.
Corey has a beautiful voice, in Slipknot and also in Stone Sour. Love him ❤❤❤
@sabry Y'all are the damn best. I'm honored to have the kind of support that you show me, thank you. How are you doing it is nice meeting you here btw.
Larry helped us, introduced us, made us good
lololl Larry King rules man.
1:01 favorite part of the video XD
God listening to Larry is like listening to you’re grandpa trying to figure out how to use a tv
2020❤❤❤
Corey is awesome
Rip king🙌🏻🙌🏻
I hope Slipknot releases licensed versions of their new masks. I would by Corey's mask in a heartbeat
I'm not of fan of this genre of music (even tho I fuck with a few songs by slipknot), but one of my friends loves slipknot, and I personally like Corey's mask from all hope is gone better than this one. The 08 one was just scarier to me.
I really hope they do, too. Sid's new mask is the shit.
Brandon Lynk
Pfft 1999-2001.
MrGabbe1200 exactly lol
Larry King clearly does not give any semblance of a shit about slipknot, he actually seems annoyed he is interviewing Corey and gives the impression he is looking down at him/pity him for his stage show. Sadly Larry King is a big name and a good source of publicity, so I understand why Corey was not offended...But personally I would be a bit miffed.
I actually completely agree with madmike. You can hear it in his voice, fuck body language when you can hear it.
He goes on to repeat questions even...within 2 minutes he's already repeating questions...he's not interested...He'd have researched them and would know a lot more about them.
and on the subject of body language miss muffintop, dudes got his arms crossed...that's like the most obvious body language que in the world. You just wanted something to say.
So I wasn't the only one thinking "What the fuck is Larry's problem?" Good to know.
He repeats several questions in a very dismissive way and asks questions that show he has done zero research even though Slipknot has been pretty huge for what is it now...15 years?Sloppy interview, I'm not even the biggest Knot fan but what the fuck Larry.
Corey's been on before soo Larry must like him to have him return and to be honest Corey's a bigger name than larry king now I mean when I was a kid I didn't even know why anybody cared what Larry king did or why he mattered and that was like 34 years of that this new generation def knows more Corey than larry
I was there for drag at Halloween show. Was a double header show with A7X in London, was an awesome night
Two legends in one room
Larry “So you all wear different masks?”
Corey “yeah we all wear different masks in slipknot”
Larry “So does everyone in slipknot wear a different mask?
Corey “yes”
Larry “So everyone’s is wearing a different mask?”
Corey “ya”
Upload full video please
Nice of you to prepare for your own show Larry.
I appreciate with Corey with his patience..
even hes laugh is fucking epic, shit this guy is a real genious
Corey Taylor really does come up with good masks
For slipknot.♠
Love the Dead Kennedys shirt!
How humble
"That is considerably scary"
"Mmmwahahahahaha"

2023 back to this video.
Well done
Not a bad mask but I much prefer his All Hope is Gone mask, that was an awesome one
My personal favorite is the Subliminal Verses one. That one kicks so much ass
1:42 "It's Slipknot right?" Larry may be 103 but he was born yesterday.
Best concert I ever went to slipknot, lamb of God, and shadows fall...
2020 🔥🔥🔥
Is it just me, or does Corey's laugh at 1:04 really sound fucking creepy due to the muffling of his voice with the mask on? I found it really creepy :P
corey's laugh tho... so awesomely evil lol
Looking good man.!
Corey seems like such a cool dude!
