I used to have Schwing welding Certs as well as Putzmiester, back in 1995 I used to put a Schwing complete hopper on an Elba, to hand make the control housing, took me 100 hours to make that, I don’t think anyone does this kind of work anymore. I used to straighten the booms when these would tip over. A514 was always stick welded and pre heated, it’s weird to see how far the technology has come with these trucks. Awesome.
