    Thank you so much for posting an excellent demo of a guitar straight into the amp! There's a ton of videos with so much studio magic involved you can't really hear the real amp sounds like. Awesome! Liked and subscribed!

      Nothing better then plugged straight in. I love effects too but it all starts with guitar and amp. Hope you can hear some of the amps glory because it is one of my favorite amps now. Great tone and grit if needed.

    Have this kit waiting on a shelf in my garage. This video is helping my motivation to get after it!

    You built some amazing custom cabs for those amps, really cool.
    Been thinking about building an amp with my Dad, he’s a retired electrical engineer and repairs receivers on the side. These seem like one of the best bargains

      Thank you, they are great amps for the money when it comes to kit amps.

    I just ordered one of these from a dude on Reverb, and this video made me super pumped about my decision.

    I had to remove the gaskets on the jacks because the plug wouldn’t sit deep enough to lock em in

      @@brianwalker7417 It’s great, I think it covers a wide array of Marshall tones. Can do old school plexi to jcm800 tones, love the master volume. Low gain input on the cleaner channel is great. It’s loud too. I have to roll down the tone knob on the jcm channel a bit though, might do a bright cap experiment. You find yours a bit I’ve picky on the gain channel?

    Did you have an issues with noise or squealing on the higher gain side? How is it when you really crank the gain and master volume up pretty high on that channel? I've heard they can have noise issues. Anyway I just ordered the kit. So I'm hoping mine turns out as well as yours. It does sound quite nice.

    • @brianwalker7417
      @brianwalker7417  Před rokem +3

      I dont have any squealing when cranked on either channel..there is the normal hiss that comes with gain channels. I have the same hiss with my Marshall Dsl40 on the gain side. I followed the book for a couple pages and then just went for it..lol if you follow the layout and schematic you will be fine. It's a great amp

      @@brianwalker7417 that’s what I like to hear. I’ll see how mine goes. If it goes well I’ll make a video of mine when it’s done. :)
