- Terraria isnt all that difficult so i wanted to up it a notch by playing the game with 30x more enemies on HARDCORE MODE. Aka only 1 life. I either beat the game or got very close and by watching you'll find out/

yeah but he died in episode 3 and eh died in this episode just didn't show it? why not just end the series if u want to do this then don't advertise it as hardcore in the beginning if its clearly not hardcore

He did die in episode 3. He was in a place where there was no way he could've lived but he just saved & exited.

yeah, i was screaming at that too, but if you stop to think, he can farm biome keys like they are gel, it's not difficult for him to farm money so a golden critter is not really that much of a big deal here

The Dragon only spawns if the clones get attacked if a dragon is not alive

@@kapoukaeumb, I thought that there would be 30 phantasm dragons because they are technically enemies.Also eoc in the challenge spawned more eyes so mb mb if I’m wrong, but I think you Do need a BIG arena for the lunatic cultist fight so at one point a part of the arena goes of the screen and enemies spawn.

It's not that every enemy is multiplied by 30, it's that spawn *rates* are 30 times higher.
30 bosses aren't spawning when a summon item is used, as an example.

Funny enough this challenge is made for full summoner. Piercing summons like pygmies and pirates would wreck the spawns. Or deadly sphere / blade staff with some decent whips. You have less armor and take more damage but with proper care and less laziness / more prep and knowing what you're getting into at each stage you could easily do this. Legit if he knew the probe was possible and didn't panic coming down he could have survived.

He got complacent at the end, he was too excited bc he could see the end in sight.
When I did my own hardcore run I had to constantly remind myself not to get complacent, anything could kill you at all times, prepare for the worst. Always be scared and never get complacent.

@ZudinGodofWar non native? Complacency is to grow calm from success or to underestimate a situation due to strength or prior victory. Like running into the Dungeon saying "they don't do much damage" instead of his normal walling building behavior. Even though post plantera skeletons even with turtle armor can kill you quickly
The Destroyer is not the easiest mech boss. He is the easiest to cheese. If you fight him on an open arena, he is the hardest because of the laser spam.
I still found it easiest without cheese
It might be just me but i find skeletron prime the easiest mech
How yall not saying twins is easy? The only hard part is the first phase of spaz and i guess the dashes but other than that they are baby compared to the tanky ass bullet hell of destroyer or the bullet hell skeletron with the instant kill head on expert or master mode, theres a reason its said to be the first mech boss on the modded boss checklist

@@Larrytherubberspatula both phases of spaz are terrifying, and retinazer on top of it is brutal. I once hated the destroyer more than twins and skele prime, but then I learned three tips:
1. for the love of god avoid the head it deals a billion damage (yes, I didn't know that for way too long and was wondering how this death by a thousand cuts boss is suddenly taking a huge chunk of my hp)
2. probes are scarier than they seem, both contact damage and lasers, and you'll take more damage from them than from the boss if you don't clear them well enough
3. git gud
When I started playing calamity mod (haven't finished cause I never get time for gaming anymore) I had my first blood moon and it maxed out spawnrates, so the screen was just full in seconds and this challenge reminds me of that. I was in full panic trying to set up a hole in the ground XD
Same, what sucks is the fact that your game Will lag, and It Will make the nights much longer, but its easy Platinum tho

This series was the most entertaining bunch of terraria videos I've ever watched, it doesn't matter that you died it was still an awesome journey and was well worth your many hours spent working on them. Well done man 👍. Also the Bible verse at the end was a nice touch that I appreciated.

here is a big time saver tip for when you make the second season.
if you are fighting mech bosses consider buying bubble blocks and use them to make a straight platform and usewater+water walking potion for easier boss fights also if you wanted to use starionary buffs use the teleporter hanging glitch. when you are fighting the plantera dont use background walls instead pour lava on the bottom of the arena. alsssooo dont forget to blow up sky islands hope this helps. love your vids ❤
I can understand why you would probably need a break from this series after that ending. This was such a fun terraria challenge and its impressive you made it that far.
This journey reminded me of Alpharad's first attempt at a super smash bros nuzlocke. He made it to the final boss, but he sadly lost, however he decided to do the challenge again and he managed to complete it.
Don't feel discouraged, learn from your mistakes and build upon it. If you ever do decide to do this series again, I wish you the best of luck. You are a Terraria Legend.

The way you edited this challenge is really suspicious tbh, not to say you’ve been cheating or anything but the bottom of the screen would be where the cheat sheet/hero mod ui would be and you never really show that part at all

- Yes bottom of the screen is shown constantly, but it was covered by a black bar and guess what, I did some testing, and the amount of area he covered with black bar is perfectly the height of cheat sheet/hero mod UI arrow
- The only times bottom screen is shown without black bar is the end and during his “re-act” (basically not in the run)

I’ve never played hardcore normally, because of how much I’ve died just fighting wall of flesh.
Even with 30x spawn rate the Martian invasion has to be the worst way to go out knowing you are close to beating the game.

Season 2 you could add the banner mods like fargos banners, theres a mod that allows you to put all banners in 1 rack and they become global if i remember correctly or another every 100 kills or something you get bonuses against that mob and at like 1000 you insta kill that type and take 1 damage from it, can't remember for sure, i did a playthrough like that with max spawn rate and it was so fun
