It's hilarious listening to people criticize his music claiming to hear dissonance or such nonsense. If you understood music or could play at all, you'd understand how good this is - not just his play but the arrangement as well. This fingerstyle is so far ahead of just strumming chords on a guitar and he executes masterfully.

It’s not just his technique. The arrangement is masterful too. He gets SO much done with relatively low intensity fingering. He’s planning on playing for a long, long time.

JG this is actually one of his easier songs to play. The thing is, with enough practice and motivation, anyone can play his songs. I can play most of his songs on guitar pretty well. The more impressive thing about sungha jung is how he's able to arrange these songs this well. That takes way more skill than actually being able to play it and that's why he's so much better than me.

Thank you for posting this. The beauty of Sungha's music brings me to tears. Tears of happiness, and bittersweet memories. This was one of my Mom's favorite songs by her favorite artist John Denver. She passed away in 2006. Thank you for the memories.

His tone and effortless playing is amazing. The arrangement makes it sound like a whole band is playing.
That's what fingerstyle is all about, one man band. Melody, chords, bass, and even percussion.
True musician lot of diversity in his song selections pop,country, rock, soul....etc. And he does it so well
I watch a lot of fingerstyle guitarists but sungha is the most naturally gifted I have seen. He’s on another tier...

I can play most of my favorite songs just like the original recording. But even as a advanced guitar player, there is NO Way I can play this song! I don't think anyone can play this song but Sung Ha. How he came up with this arrangement is also very impressive!

Once again I am very pleased by Sungha's work. Especially when it comes to the song that's dedicated to my home state of West Virginia, The places mentioned in the song, the Shenandoah, and Blue Ridge mountain, these places were amazing to me, almost like a theme park or a live Football game. We only talked about them when we were trying to have a fun weekend with the family. And as for the moonshine, well, it'll definitely put a few teardrops in your eyes.

I am a very good guitar player, better than most people, but I can never be as good as this guy!! This version is INSANELY difficult to play. He may be the only person in the world who can play this song in this style. Sounds too good to be real!
