I was a big Colourfield/Fun Boy Three/Terry Hall fan. I was in my mid teens when i saw The Specials in Baltimore in 1986. Terry was one incredible artist. Rest well Terry.

Very Bunnymenesque but then again considering the connection of Ian Broudie who worked with both I'm not surprised. Broudie loves layers upon layers of interesting sounds. Great days.

Ian Broudie produced the Bunnymen quite by chance. He had nothing to do with the writing of the songs or the sound the Bunnymen were going for. I think the same for Pete's association with Terry's projects. He did it as a favour not as a legitimate member of the band so to speak. How come Gary Dwyer never gets a mention? He actually was an acknowledged band member.
Haunting and so out of place yet perfectly in tune...blender for my tormented musical soul...long live the Colourfields!
