Future Patch notes: Reduced the Skadi’s range by 50% because it was too effective. Completely unintentionally.

They should make it so that the effect only applies while the weapon it is targeting is being frozen only by the Skadi

we need a test comparing heated up damage compared to the jotun to see whats better. My cyclones fell off quickly being frozen.
Imo Jotuns are simply inferior to Incinerators. Heating up for double damage along with considerable damage to every part is wayyyyy better than a measly 33% power and speed reduction (that you loose quickly by just leaving the frost puddle) and partial resistance disabling.
Jotun would also need to lower enemy weapon rotation speed by like 50% to be preferable (and maybe increased direct hit damage as well).
If u play solo ,fire is better but if u got a clan or other friends u play with ice shines more. Also in clan confrontation it could be amazing, all those speedy 3 gerrida leg builds will get so slow😂. But jea lowering weapon rotation speed sounds was better then destroying resistence ngl
Ice imo is better,if they are stuck on a wall trying to run it's quite impossible to escape untouched,and the anti resistance to parts can make all parts feel like ripping 15 durability parts apart.
Not gon even talk about the range,the shoot-through parts had no chance and the 2+ seconds from BP Jotuns makes it a A tier weapon imo.
Jotuns can rotate so their easier to use on non spider hover builds.
Honestly the combos of slow cold plus fire could be absolutely devastating.
Sadly their not,only 1 of the effects can be activated at a time,and when you try to like,apply fire to a frozen enemy the fire needs to take the ice out before starting to heat up the enemy,same thing with ice.

i was messing around with the skadi, the new ice thrower, and found it has an arc and an effective range of 150 meters at max something tells me this weapon is going to be cool

It seems like they are better than incin due to more team support, they don’t do as much damage but slowing enemies power and totally negating resistances helps out the team alot

Jukkobo (or maybe even annihilator drone) + two Jotun? Thinking the slow effects combined will be a real pain in the ass and will help get more damage in

capkan is very good with this, it is slowing down the enemy, so capkan catch them easier
It kind of works like a smoke screen as well
The weapon is good if you have good team with scorpions and range build

15:42 it's kind of bs that the cold puddle hurts you faster than it hurts the enemy. I think there is some sort of bug or unintended fall off going on there.
In the update overview the devs actually said that the frost weapons also decrease enemy weapon damage
That is specific to the skadi. From my understanding being in a cryo state only removes the resistamce perk on your build. The cryo weapons just have bonus perks. The thing thatbis unclear is what happend if i shoot a heated target or what happens to my aurora build if a target ia frozen. Those are the thing i was thinking about while doing pvp last night
There is one problem whit this freez weapon. I was in a match when 3 of my team was using them and 3 in enemy team. Visiblty was so low, it was hard to hit people.

I noticed when it hits u, it slows you down and it has a crackle sound effect makes me wonder if u were to get hit by something substantial while under the effect if it increases the DMG u take?
Basically,it takes of all your parts 0-25% resistance against certain type of damage,and defence modules and Ermak cabin are less effective under ice,while making Shoot-through parts lose their Shoot-through capability.
Its so much fun to use the jotun on a high speed car in raids
Imagine a team with nothing but Jotun Jukkbow Kappcan and Flash/Spark decaying your build as you slowly try to escape in vein.
Can you make an icy hot build?
skadi is scary. But shooting long range is a waste of ammo tbh. But very high damage..
Jotun is a support build, its ok. But already lost a bunch of games because we had many jotun users. Lost a few with jotun annoying me too but mainly 3 cyclone spider. I have 2 so i can't win + was a 2vs1 so. My 2 shields barely helped

I can’t figure out how to aim the incinerator, so to jotun wouldn’t be useful for me
Will have to see but I just don't see frost being better than fire. Can't beat that extra damage to heated parts especially when it seems like the frost doesn't slow things down all that much.

Hello everyone, I have a question about the Battle Pass. If I buy the Elite, will they give me all the weapons or will I only skip 15 levels?
By buying standard BP and doing every task as well as all dailies you will have enough lighters to get 2 fused weapons from BP workbench (or 3 with elite pass)
Elite pass gives you 15 levels, or 450 cross crowns worth, for the difference of pack costs. For me in Canada it's 450 crowns for 30$.
The Skade dont feel right to me... Lol range seems stupid... Might give most of this a miss lol

If your new do not play this game youl never get the weapons he has without a credit card and if you do just stop playing at 3k 4k itl save you a lot of stress any money getting killed by credit card builds while your play f2p not worth the time or stress even installing
