The problem with SA is they never look convincing which makes their wins in world cups look more lucky than anything else

What’s not convinccing. Playing 5 of the other 6 highest ranked teams. Winning 4 (losing the pool game cos trying things out before the quarters) . Playing 3 finals in a row and still going the distance. What’s not. Convincing is your understanding of the sport. That has been the most convincing World Cup champions in the history of the sport. Taking on the best and going the distance. Digging deep. No other team winning a World Cup has equaled the road taken by springboks 2023.
Don’t forget covid and South Africa had the hardest lockdown. We never had rugby the longest from the other tier 1 nations. We only had 2 years to rebuild a team even domestic rugby was cancelled. This team is arguably the greatest champions in IRB. Maybe not the best. But the greatest.

I meannn Wales weren't great. They shouldn't have lost to Fiji, they limped to victory against Portugal, they beat a woeful Australia side and then got bossed in the Quarters by Argentina? Am I missing something?
