Thank god i have the option of installing this dash because everytime i seen a newer bike with a TFT display i think to myself man my bike is badass but i still have this wack ass dash! Lol.
I would not mess up with the IPC on any vehicle, specially on a expensive one such as this bike. I worked on Software validation for Visteon, wich makes the IPC for the Ford F150 or Shelby GT500 and those things are, besides very feature packed, have a lot of security features, like DTCs or DIDs that are used for diagnostics.
Everything was fine with this instrument cluster, But the clutch cable seems like messing with the view of the instrument cluster from rider view point.
Too Much $ for my taste but a vast improvement. I like to see a Dash with HD night vision rear view cameras and a super bright screen for blaring San Diego sunlight before do this mod. Love the bike and the Videos!

Then I bought new: smog plates, frame sliders, a color rearset kit, solid cam chain tensioner, new battery, traction pads, aluminum fluid cap set, air filter, oil and filter, color brake and clutch levers, and other little things, all for slightly under $1,200. Nothing wrong with the stock dash. But, to each his/her own.
I don’t know. I guess I’m a guy who will stay with stock components. You’ve updated and modified the bike a lot already. Changing the dash is ok for some not so for others. It’s a nice addition for it. Hell I’ve thought of changing mine on my z to vintage gauges. Just to be different. But nahhhhhh. Lol good fun. I see you’ve changed to a slimmer muffler or I think you did. Or should go with a shorter one. Ride safe.

You should look at the zx14r dash bro. And there's no aftermarket dashes. I've been looking for something that fits specifically the zx14r (not "universal").
At 7:05 looks like the display has back light bleeding in the bottom left corner. You can see it the rest of the time the display is on too. Looks like the backlight is not lighting up the screen correctly.
Just bought a ZX10R KRT replica 2018 so can't afford 1 of these just yet lol :) the dash does let down the bike as every other bike seems to have a screen apart from Kawasaki. Kawasaki could make a mint if they made a screen for like half the price of one of these and sell them separately for older bikes :)
Now it looks like 2019 motorcycle. Nicely done. But, i hope it's fully customizable because everythings too small and the colors are just bad. The R1 dash looks so much better in comparison.
cool upgrade, it just the screen seems still have air-gap so looks kinda grey-ish when power-off. Should come with Full Lamination screen in 2019 thought...
IAM hmmmm used them alot in karting for 10 yrs simple to use but... The back light will fail the rear ports are very fragile and its Italian so its pretty but it will have a issue 100 % in the future
Hey I just got a left over model 2018 ZX10R SE it has the showa electronic suspension, launch control, engine braking etc settings on the dash. Will this still work with all that extra stuff?
Do you think it would fit and plug and play with a 2022 zx10r? I emailed the company and they said order the 16-2020 but I worry it will be a no go and they just want a sale. 🤷♂️

There is a reason they didnt touch the dash in so long ... reliability! You just replaced a reliable, proven design with a crap screen that WILL fail and you paid 1100 dollars to do it ... for what? Looks? News flash: the old dash looked like a motorcycle dash, now you have a cellphone screen for a dash.
i think that stock dash is so cool ive always loved the setting where it looks like swiping fire.

The stock looks good though, the only reason why you say it looks bad is because its "old". Almost all bikes now have that screen.

All other brands put 5inch tft on their entry level bikes in 2019 now. Kawasaki has got a lot to keep up with
Soloman 5k kawi don’t need no fancy dash anyway they go all out in performance I’ll take that over a dash any day.

Wrap a wire around the end of your screwdrivers and attach a each end of wire to the + and - of battery for a few hrs. Magnetic screwdrivers !

you have to tell aim company before the purchase so they could add you the ODO km/mph that you have on the bike because you can't do that your own
