Now I understand why these girls bullied you. They were not getting love at home, their parents were the kind of parents that made their children feel less than nothing if they didn't win. They probably got smacked around at home if they didn't win at whatever, because they were embarrassing the parents. What a sad life to live. They bullied you because they blamed you. Jealousy is a bad thing to feel. I'm so glad you are a nice person. Your parents are awesome and they love you unconditionally. We need more people like them in the world because it would be a nicer place to live. Can't wait till next time.
Lynne Gulbrand literally ! Private schools are awful! I had a really rich cousin who went to a private school in Hertfordshire and it was even worse because it was all girls! All the kids were so spoilt and bratty and everything was a competition with the parents. I remember going to her 7th or 8th Harry Potter themed birthday party that her parents had spent £18,000 on and thinking how ridiculously magical and insane it was! they had live actors and a petting zoo of "magical creatures" and pillars with fake fire flames coming out and it was in a huge country estate, with a huge cake that was a replica of hogwarts castle... and half the girls were all saying how it was so low budget and tacky and not good enough compared to their parties ! Like at 8 years old!!! Then as I got older and would meet their parents I started understanding why they were the way they were. Everything was about image and keeping up appearances and being "perfect" , almost playing a role 24/7! All the mums had to be the skinniest or have the nicest designer clothes/bags etc and drive the nicest cars. They genuinely didn't care about the people they were themselves as long as everyone was impressed/felt inferior to them and no doubt they didn't care what their kids turned out to be like as people as long as they didn't do anything to disappoint/ embarrass them. It's so sad really ! Then the genuinely sweet kids get bullied because these people are insecure and havent learnt compassion. They aren't loved and are only rewarded through winning or accolades , which in turn makes them believe that the only important thing is winning whatever it is they want no matter the cost !!!
Rich people can buy most things but they can't buy first place, that has to be earned. So when someone who threatens their spot comes along, they decide to take them out no matter what as long as they end up on top. It's sad but I actually feel worse for them in the long run because they will most likely never change as people whereas Imogen is shining and succeeding ! Who's the real winner and loser here? 🤔
@@LunaNovaTarot 18,000 pounds for a birthday party is about 23,000 dollars. That's a bit excessive. I could buy a new car with that kind of money lol. Sad to waste money like that on a kids party that they won't remember at all, but I guess it's their money and they can spend it how they want. I feel bad spending $100 on a party never mind 23 grand. I suppose your cousin didn't appreciate it at all. Money doesn't last forever, and spending like that will make it go quickly. As the Beatles said "Money can't buy me love". I would rather put that kind of money in a trust fund for their future, or even donate to a worthy charity. You have to teach children respect and kindness not greed and hatred. That's what I like about Imogen, she is a sweet, genuine and lovely person who has parents that taught her love and self worth. As someone who’s gone to three schools and have been bullied and had something happened to me which was horrifically I feel for your Imogen! 😟
I had girls throw bleach on me and I was attacked regularly from these girls and boys. The schools where awful they didn’t help one bit I was told “maybe you shouldn’t start it”. I still have nightmares and life long effects because of these girls and boys I have anxiety,depression and etc.

Imogen this really helped me realise that school popularity isn't everything. I was bullied in primary school and it was the worst year of my life. None of the girls really liked me or I didn't fit in with them so they kind of just dropped me as a friend. I thought something was wrong with me. All the friends I had would just leave me after they got bored or the popular girls took interest in them. I went through a stage of loneliess thank God I had books. Books have always been a huge part of my life and I the fictional characters were my friends and they helped me through a lot. When I went to secondary school I thought things would be different people would be more mature but I was wrong. I have always been quiet and shy but a made a new best friend and she is the best thing that ever happened. 3 years and she hasn't dropped and she makes me feel like I matter. There are still mean girls but we face them together. They always get pissed of when I get high marks or do something well and get praise and try bring me down. Like when my best friend and I won 1st at the feis they told us it's should have been the other girls in our class. They would be like "how did they even win? They are sooo quiet who would even hear them. The judge must be daft." That REALLY hurt because it was something I was so proud of. They would make fun of me about my hobbies and say that I was too old to do gymnastics. They would call me big mama which really stung because I'm SO insecure about my weight. People would spread rumours about me having knits and then whisper about it in front of me. Like one time my eczema was getting really bad on my neck and one of them asked what it was and I told her eczema and then she whisperd to one of her friends "do you think it's the knits?" They would say we were being mean when we had done absolutely nothing to provoke them. It still goes on but we have each other and I have you. Thank you for cheering me up when things have got me down.

Stay strong. When school is over you will never see these girls and they won't amount to anything they will stay with same small thoughts and never amount to anything. Keep your head high x

Ever since I found you on CZcams my only wish is that my children will say the same as what you say about your parents. My little boy has only started primary school (different years in Northern Ireland) lol anyway and today he was alone in the playground in the morning and it truly broke my heart, because unlike me he is like his dad and he’s very introvert I just worry people will take advantage of him 😢 you are such a lovely person 💗💗💗 love you lots and I’m so sorry you had to go through that, I don’t know how there is people like that in the world 💔 xx

I love how you talk about things you have been through like bullying. It makes others not feel like the only ones. I had severe bullying all through my school life, so bad that I had to get out of the school system. It really traumatised me but I'm getting by. Thank you Imogen ❣️

Oh my lifeeee how can someone wake up every morning knowing they are bully or they have purposely upset/ ruined someone’s life it’s horrid! Thankyou so much for sharing your story times, it’s amazing to know other people go through such similar circumstances. The sad thing is it doesn’t stop at school and luckily for me I found amazing people at uni but that’s not the case for everyone. Honestly thank you so much for doing these ❤️ more people need to speak about these experiences, I had to move from my state school after my ‘best friends’ bullied me to the point that I came home in tears every day (this is after they bullied me in year 6 as well but it was brushed off by the school as girls being girls), I moved to a Church of England school which sounds very similar to your private school, and I had a few friends but because I joined in year 10 everyone already had their friendship groups, I had one friend from ballet there that I’d known for years but even she abandoned me in the end because I didn’t fit in with the popular girls, I didn’t want to go and drink and party with them and I just find it crazy how much I feel as though I can relate to you, I feel like we’ve been through so many similar experiences and honestly I really hope I get the chance to meet you one day because I think you’re a wonderful and gorgeous human being and I’m so thankful that you use the platform you have to help others, you have a beautiful soul ❤️

what gets to me is that no matter what generation we are each everyone experiences bullying in some form and its heartbreaking when you see someone first hand being bullied and then being bullied yourself and have to live it, anyone reading these comments i may be irrelevent and nobody knows me but if your being bullied i love you with all my heart and one day its going to get better, as for imogeon even though this is hard for you, you are a beautiful brave soul and i love you everyday and twice on sunday you ANGEL!! thankyou for being you mia bella,xxx

Bullying is such a hard things to go through as Ik from experience and ur so strong like my bullying wasn’t as harsh as what u had but it was still enough to damage you and make u think back to it day to day, and it doesn’t have enough awareness in today’s society. Imogen, you are amazing girl .. and i’ll tell you for why. You are so relatable, you don’t hold back (like in your last story time you admitted to underage clubbing when you could have completely not put that part in) and the fact you are so honest and open makes us all connect with you so much more - it is truly amazing. I was bullied during school and unfortunately, now suffer with depression because of that.. i can relate to you so much, i always knew i was quite intelligent and could pick things up quickly and in the end i ended up pretending i didnt know how to do things so I didn’t look so smart, it is horrendous. I think it’s amazing that you bring awareness to all these issues that you do, and please also know that you are not alone ❤️. Thank you for sharing your story. I was bullied as well and kept feeling hopeless and unworthy but I was able to get through it on my own and I feel a lot stronger now ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
