    Here's a grafting video Roy and Eric made. We just need to say that we actually just soak the stock for a few hours, remove them from soaking trays, and then let the plants suck up that water for at least 24 hours, so that they are nice and pumped up. In the video I say soak for 24 hours, which may hurt roots. We had to cut out the Euphorbia grafts for time, but we will include them in a future video. Enjoy!

    Thank you Erick, Great video, learned a few tricks from you on grafting. I recently bought bonide sulphur that's 90% sulphur, 10 % wetting agent. Can i dust my trichocereus after taking a cutting with this type of material; wetting agent?

    I give my top plant a twist to get juice to moving. On my really delicate ones I use a plastic wrap to hold it on there. If too dry you can use juice from Echinocereus Viereckii Morricalii to add moisture.

    Best grafting video Ive seen by far. Awesome. Sidenote; i saw that one of your myrtillo root stocks had some scarring or corking spots. I have some that are doing that. Do you know what causes that? Neem oil or inseticidal soap?

    Do you think you could take a cactus stock, slice the sides of so theres still the base and then add like a bunch of graft all around it?

    What do you use on root stock tip cuts? Do you use Sulphur or rooting hormone or nothing? How long you store before you root them? Thanks!

      No sorry euphorbia are succulents. You can only graft euphorbias onto euphorbias.

      just any 20-20-20 available. I would guess hardware stores or big box nurseries have sulfur powder, or order online

    so pumping up the stock and scion prior to making the cuts is what makes it unnecessary to put the graft in high humidity during the healing process? I suppose too that it matters what one's relative humidity is.

    Can you tell me a good brand and style of super sharp knife to use ? Not many good choices in my area . When I order online, I’m always disappointed. They’re not as sharp as advertised and don’t sharpen well. I end up crushing instead of cutting . Thank you for the in depth video! Very helpful 😊

      I always use stainless steal utility knifes. Super sharps, super thin, and you can always change the blade for a new one. ✌🏼

      Pups can only come from areoles so any areole is a possible pup.
