I’ve seen some guys lay the ramps flat and strap them down and they overhang the vehicle a bit on them but that means you need a loading dock at both ends
Damn thats a good idea… unfortunately we went straight from the dealer to a rail yard and didnt have that option BUT i will definitely have to add that one to the bag of tricks!
I running a 45 foot trailer for that reason working out great

I like the way you put the chain around the dunnage..
I thought you had to screw them down..
Well they want coil racks and ours were at the house so this was the next best way to secure the dunnage down. Idk how other steel places run it but i know this one was not hotshot friendly. Probably due to the fact that the weight they ship out is on the top end or too heavy for a hotshot.
I would have gladly let you use my 44' Diamond C gooseneck.
