Good series of vids !! Patea is a great place to fish out of. We were chaperoned to a spur off North Trap in the mid 80s by Ike Ansley, a real good fella. The reefs were a real eye opener back then, 2.5 - 3kg crabs everywhere and massive Snaps up on the reef when the crabs were soft. We dived and found some awesome country including cave systems over the next 20 years. Now starting to fart dust, have moved to a ski for fishing, really enjoy it and make the bar crossings in the BOP really easy. Would be good to chew the fat one day,Keep them coming J
