This guide would have helped me a lot a while ago, I have made too many bad decisions regarding payments, I invest up to almost 1000 euros and with each mistake I learned to never make it again, as is the case of buying the packages that give 2600 gems blue for 5500 royal gems then buy 7x card packs

as a player who swiped enough in lost ark to buy a good used car, i will say that swiping feels great in the short term but then you realize that everyone else catches up to you with time. and as gear resets happen or more legendary select packs are given out the only thing you really get through swiping is "early access".
great video i would like to know more about the math on life energy 100 blue crystals to gold conversion, are the excavating mats selling super high on EU compared to other regions?

Good video for the newer players. I've bought the $19.95 crystals pack 3 times. First time when I started playing I bought the LvL pack and got 2600 blues when I was lvl 50 this really helped. Then later I went to a new server and bought the Vern pass and the LvL pack and since you are 50 you will get 2600 blues. Then I bought 6 of the 1 month Aura packs, that's 6 month of Aura for only $19.95 (Tip don't use them all at once, I use them each month just in case I cant play for some reason they wont be wasted.) for me the value the Aura brings to the game is well worth it.
Hello there sywoo. I watched your recent podcast with another youtube his name escapes me. I just wanted to tell you that negative things and or people are louder than positive. I believe there's a lot more people that really enjoy this game, me being a part of them, and want to continue watching you play along with us. Never knew about the lvl complete pack in the store. 1100 crystals for 6 months worth of crystalline aura is insanely good.
Ive been watching your videos recently and I must thank you, watching all your guides for new players made me realise I didnt want to invest in this pay to win cash grab.
The only things that are actually worth buying apart from the lvl 50 crystal pack are skins and maybe one of the starter packs if you like the cosmetics, which is a good thing. All the mats and cards are pure whalebait for people with more money than sense, and you're just throwing money away when the next tier of gear comes out. You know a tier 4 is coming.
Is there a significant difference of "Want to" or "Need to"? I know some might argue that there never is a sense of "need to" for spending money but, I assume there's a big difference in some areas of grinding that it might just be beneficial to swipe.
Good question. I think it depends on who you hang with in game. I never felt like I had to, but maybe thats because I did deposit a few hundred anyway
when the game first came out before honing updates and amazon cashing out on fomo, I would say yes, nowadays with all the events and lessening impact of honing requirements it's not as bad anymore, obviously buying will make it faster but honestly doesn't feel necessary anymore, some people might argue when Elgacia comes out and new 1500+ content that it is "necessary" I don't feel it so.
new event you just play the story quests and the game gives you new armor whenever you need it to go to next area till I think like 1340? There's another event right now that starts at 1340, so you would start at lvl 1, do the 1-50 10 hours, 2 hours each continent so 12 hours for those, so in 22 hours played you are 1340 and you can start the 1340 event after that that helps you to get 1445, they also reduced alot of early T3 honing to cost silver now instead of gold.
Every time you go to a new tier, or certain ilvls in Tier 3 you can unlock honing success rate and less XP required or earlier honing levels for alts, makes it also a lot easier to level alts if you like to have alts.
Honestly the biggest most annoying part atm is that the playerbase is so low for server wide content (so stuff that's not region shared to each server) so like field bosses and ghost ships, I'm a returning player after along time and sometimes i cant find people for ghost ship or certain islands and other content. Be nice if they did some server merges over here, especially in US WEST, playerbase is so low over here and we have 7 servers still...

No life skill boost character tips isn't not doable anymore ? (Boosting a character on another server to get another life skill bar and spending it every two days ?)
just started playing lost ark, and watched all your new player videos, and that's how you became my favorite lost ark streamer!!
For me, paid for every Ark Pass. If they made it monthly with the same reward output….I would be spending (or spent) way more on this game. But when I “look” for things to buy it just feels so worthless….running hard Valtan/Vykas is like 6k gold without drops and that is almost $10…so if I spent that money instead of the raid I would quit fast.

So can i go to a different region, lets say EUC and buy the lvl 50 pack there, buy the 6 months Aura and have it work in my own region (Not EUC)?

The card packs from the shop are the best thing to spend money on ($100 per month) if you're thinking about it from a long term perspective. It's like a $100 a month subscription to get LoS 30 3-5 years early. Brilliant p2w system from the business perspective and the most predatory I've ever seen in an MMO.

Card packs are so cancer in the store, if you paying BC or RC for card packs it should 100% be the higher chance purple/leg pack only, why is blue ones even considered that's crazy
I quit the game, thanks to AGS's incompetence, feels like a huge burden lifted from me, but as usual great cc for LA. I will wait for the day when they have no more 2x of Guardians and chaos along with straight to 1600 boost and Easy honing chances. Because, man currently Brel is a nightmare to both game and the Toxic Uber-charged community!

RMT is the way to go... in any game that has RMT. Look for a reliable RMT and go with it.
Cashshop: $50 = 5750 Royal Crystals = 34,032 gold
RMT: $50 = 80,000 to 100,000 Gold (depending on where you buy)
Cashshop: 8460 Royal Crystals = 3600 Crystals = $70+
RMT: 100,000 gold = 6650 Crystals = $50+
Another example.
Xenon Nightrider Skin chest + Sword = 30,000+ Gold = $20 in RMT
Xenon Nightrider Skin chest + Sword = 2,400 Royal Crystals = $20+ (If you have zero Royal Crystals, you have to buy the $49.99)
