- Concert of Ross Daly, Murat Aydemir, Taxiarchis Georgoulis, Kelly Thoma, Romina Lischka, Sofie Vanden Eynde and Simon Leleux, all participants of the project Ariadne's Thread (Ghent, November 2016).
In Greek mythology, Ariadne helped her hero to escape from the labyrinth with the help of a woollen thread. For this concert, the world-famous lyre player Ross Daly takes young musicians from Belgium, Greece and Turkey along with him on a musical journey.
Ariadne's Thread is the result of a recidency project in Ghent in November 2016. During one week an ensemble of Greek, Turkish and Belgian musicians created new musical material under guidance of Ross Daly.
This creation was commissioned by the music venues De Centrale and Handelsbeurs Concert Hall as part of the Istanbul Ekspres Festival 2016 in Ghent. This project was supported by the city of Ghent.

Harika :) we love greek people. I'm from Turkey.
Have a nice day all! :)
Sommige muziek verklankt de nostalgie van de ziel naar haar thuisland (en dat is niet van deze wereld).
Χιονίζει ....
Είμαστε πολύ τυχεροί κι ευτυχισμένοι και δεν το ξέρουμε

Beautiful
Exquisite!!
Touches my Armenian soul 🌺
Such beautiful music! I'm left with some questions though. Do the separate pieces they played have names? Are those pieces new or part of the canon of another culture? What are the instruments played and who is playing them?
