Final notes: i mean hush can be a sovern or a shade. A sovern is like a god of sorts that are like demons but more powerful. So soverns can wield magic but hush said he doesnt have a core. Shades are these undead creatures that seems like they can't wield magic and feeds on lifeforce to become solid and also be more talkative. Hush said he doesnt feel hungry or anything so my deduction is he is a new race

So... Usually when I leave a comment is like 3 paragraphs long? But with Hush, besides all the theories shooting around in my head too abstract to put into words just yet, all I have is: I REALLY like the way he speaks.
I think it puts me at ease because even though there IS stuff he's hiding, he means exactly what he's saying. Even when he's talking about not knowing if Doc will approve of his purpose and even has we know VERY little about it and what we DO know should frighten me... Because of the way Hush constructs sentences and then speaks them, I'm just... At ease. And there's the odd absense of background noise on this audio, like a little bubble of vaccum that SHOULD enerve me, but it doesn't, I like the way he speaks too much.
And it's not just being blunt or being honest, because other characters are like that and it's different. It's just... He says a thing and that's the thing. Nothing more, nothing less, it just is.

Hush is so intriguing, weird but in a curious way. And I have a theory that
he’s possibly the inchoate sovereign, Rak’Xit…. thinking on his words of not having a true form, no core… the word inchoate itself means just begun and not fully formed… more and less AGH he’s so inquisitive to me, whole time I just kept thinking “who are you” or even “what are you” …. And those bits of his “purpose” make me wonder if he’s here to help with the Meridian or tear it down, and the stuff of his brother 👀👀
With the definition of inchoate, it makes me wonder if when the sovereigns were trapped, maybe a sliver of Rik’Xit escaped and rifted into Terra (as Rak’Xit discovered Terra himself… this could mean that part of him is trapped and the other, which could be Hush, is in Terra and seeks to possibly free the Sovereigns) and now takes a different form to hide from his brother and uses Hush as his name to differentiate
even more interesting that there’s so much to him we don’t know yet and I can’t wait for more (also the title makes me wonder if Hush and Doc would be some kind of “dark” iteration of Milo and Sweetheart !)

I've been watching all Hush audios now and the matter of who his brother could be came back to me.
I think it could be Echo. Both have sound based names and both are very different from our "in universe" characters.And it makes sense that Echo wouldn't want him around.
Echo is not a story related character and more a narrating force of sorts for us listeners. Hes usually not involved in the overall story other then bending storylines and creating alternate universes to his liking. But if there is someone else interrupting the way he wants the story to go, it makes sense he wouldn't want that.
But hey, maybe I'm reading too much into it. 😅
knowing your existence makes people afraid is already draining and exhausting, but being aware that you aren't good nor bad and that *that* is the reason people fear you and don't want to be around you is heartbreaking actually. he genuinely thinks he doesn't have a heart (feelings and emotions, not the literal organ) and that he's only worth what his creators said he was.

Listen, Hush, you can't be giving your doc a heart attack, it would be too ironic. Next time, maybe an appointment can be made? No? Okay, fine. Just, please, let's leave bathroom stalls out of the equation, for my sanity. Joking aside, I went through quite the emotional spectrum listening to this audio. Being told, 'you shouldn't feel safe', only made me feel a lot more for Hush. I don't believe this to be wrong, but also I can only imagine the kind of experiences one would have to have such a thought form so matter-of-factly. Yet, I also feel an endearing innocence to him, even though there is a looming darkness in regards to his role. Hush is seeking answers for these thoughts, foreign feelings, and going to the logical source, doc, expecting a better understanding. I love the genuine curiosity, even though he says he wasn't created to be curious. I love how this exploration of self is leading to figuring out something that lies so deep, dormant. I feel it's going to be explosive once it all connects.

I mean, if raw magic that is incredibly potent and destructive to physical matter is what tickles your taste buds, who am I to judge? Yeah, you should laugh more often, it's nice to laugh. There is a complication to your thoughts but your demeaner says otherwise, trying to put puzzle pieces together, but not wanting to make the time spent here, now, part of the complication. Right now, you need more of the lighthearted confusion, the dance of the unknown, something welcoming, new. Sharing space with a new experience, an individual, open to listening, not recoiling back at your words, simply listening. This is the journey of trying to understand your existence, not the purpose assigned to you by another, but the driving force of existing, along with every experience that comes along with it.
My heart feels a lot right now, sharing these experiences with another, and helping them find understanding. It means a lot. The possibly unintentional openness, vulnerability to Hush, taking a form because it makes sense... I feel sad, I want you to feel whole, Hush, however that means for you. I'll keep my hand on your chest for as long as you like. I'm glad you can feel my warmth, my pulse, too. There is still so much I feel in regards to this storyline, this script, but it also unlocked certain memories within me. I resonated a lot, especially in regards to touch, which is a concept I've struggled with in my life. Such beautiful writing, brought to life in such a way that pulled at my heartstrings. The softness of the exchange between them, made me feel hope, somehow. I am excited to continue on this journey, learning more about Hush, and how he experiences firsts with doc, firsts with self, too. Thank you, Erik, for another beautiful script, another beautiful audio. I'm really on the edge of my seat for more. Thank you for everything you do, for being you, always.

Hush sounds so innocent, like he knows he has alot of power and can use it at any momment, but at the same time he sounds so sad and i don't know how to describe it. Definitely mysterious but not entirely scary( not saying being mysterious means your scary)

He is also really honest and straight foward, the way he was able to tell the listener that hes been thinking about them and that they made him laugh for the first time.
I mean the theory that he could be shade sounds alittle off but it kinda fits at the same time and if you read this all thank you 😅
see i really can’t see him being a shade since he says he doesn’t eat or feel hunger and even shades feed on something yk? everything about him is just the exact opposite of a shade so i’m hella convinced he’s a new species we haven’t been introduced to 💯

I'm so enthralled by this beautifully complex character, hes so complicated and interesting. so interested in the listener and their world but with truly no boundaries or understanding of them, suspicious intentions, shady back story but seemingly no harm to the listener?? he seems so filled with knowledge but yet so new to the human experience, even so unsure of his own experience, I wonder if gavin felt similar on his first trip out of aria? so excited to see how this storyline develops! favorite quote you aak?
