Our journey begins on the picturesque island of Anglesey, where we dive headfirst into the enchanting world of Pili Palas Nature World. From fluttering butterflies to creepy crawlies, we encounter some truly fascinating creatures. And trust me, watching my son get excited about Iguanas is a sight you won't want to miss!
But hold on tight, because our adventure takes an unexpected turn when I suddenly come down with a case of tonsillitis. Yes, you heard that right ... and no I don't actually have any tonsils (i've got those pesky lingual ones left!).
Despite my sore throat, we manage to make our way to the breath-taking North Wales beaches. Picture this: sand between our toes, the salty breeze in our hair, and an epic sandcastle-building competition that only I am taking part in! Who knew building moats and defending our sand kingdom could be so intense?
But wait, there's more! Our adventure takes us to the Beaumaris Artisan Market, where we indulge in scrumptious local treats and discover some other gorge new traders!
Of course, we couldn't miss out on visiting the Welsh Mountain Zoo, where we encounter some of the most adorable and exotic animals. Prepare for heart-melting moments as we attempt to communicate with a mischievous monkey!
Last but not least, we explore a couple of jaw-dropping National Trust properties that make us feel like we've stepped into a fairytale. From exploring secret gardens to discovering hidden passageways, our inner adventurers are unleashed, resulting in some hilarious mishaps along the way.
