Dayum, how in the hell did the humble Giant go from being a total meme to being probably one of the strongest SEM duelists in the entire game..?!

@@Marek21SK eh, for 1400 gold, having something that can trade upwards against almost any other SEM in the game still feels like kind of a steal to me...
@@PeteTheGrouch Health increased by 33%, most SE's didn't get a WS buff to keep pace, with the giant being a notable exception. 700 WS is way above average in game 3, while 600 was only moderately better than most SE's in game 2, less so when BvL was considered.
@@PeteTheGrouch He's great or even overperforms against meele focused factions and slow movers. But idk man, he looks so crippled and ugly, poor bastard doesn't need to go to war when he's done for on the dating market.

And I'm asking myself. Why do we even need the Elemental Bear?
Elemental bear is a large unbreakable unit. It has its own advantages and disadvantages
The giant has a low investment in armour which is good vs single entities since most of them have a lot of AP. It has good hp and melee attack and really high AP weapon strength. Its animations don't seem that long so maybe it helps it to get more attacks off.
Elemental Bears need a rework to their attacks and a buff.
As they are right now, they are mostly damage sponges.
Good that Kislev at least has Incarnate Elemental of Beasts, since Bear in combat is next to useless and not worth the money
The result of this matchup looks so dumb. Sizes of these two are almost similar to what man looks next a grizzly bear.
And now imagine that man is a drunkard with a club, barely able to hold on his two, and somehow beats a bear in strength and agility. Not even including a freezing aspect. Sounds stupid, right? And so does the giant winning here as well.
I mean, I agree with you.
But the bear is also made of ice and roots not really the best material to build a giant monster.
