Schindler 3300 MRL Elevators - Residence Inn - Elmwood, LA

The Residence Inn on 1080 Elmwood Park Blvd is a new hotel, built just 4 or 5 years ago. With its brand new architecture, stands the brand new Schindler 3300 Machine Roomless Traction Elevators. While the chimes of the model are pathetic, the design, which allows the hoist to be tucked into the shaft, prevents the need for an extra floor to house the machine room. Unfortunately, a hydraulic model of this type of elevator has yet to introduced by Schindler, which probably means they will follow KONE, who ditched their hydros in 2007, to fully take on the MRL EcoDisk.

P.S. I ordered a Sony WX300. It is an older camera, but it gives me a 25-500mm focal length, which should give a much better video experience.
