- In this Travel Vlog through Thailand, we enjoy our second day in Koh Samui. I love the beautiful islands in Thailand and it is really nice to be back at the beach in the incredible Koh Samui! It was much quieter than I expected, but we still had an amazing day!

Samui is a gorgeous Island but can see it's going to take quite some time to restore back to its former glory. Good job with this vlog mate.

i have been to Koh Samui twice and cant wait to get back there. ive had some pretty big nights out at the Ark bar and in soi green mango. good to see they have finished the road works on chewang beach road,...love that place.

Visited Samui at least 10 times. Definitely my favourite place in Thailand. Used to love the Reggae Pub across the lake.

Think you need to register in in Thailand to have the restrictions lifted. Just hearing different things about how much that should cost. I’ll keep you posted

you wouldn't have been able to see the waterfall from there anyway mate, I know that spot. Spent a year in Samui
Koh Samui is nice to stay,flying in and out at times is expensive,could depend on who you use I guess..Had a great time there…

Great video again Samui looks beautiful but it’s sad to see all the places closed down and looking so neglected . Chynthai again finds animals or should I say they find her , animals can sense good people and clearly she is a good lady . Keep up the good work

Really enjoyed your latest vlog. Some great drone footage as well. The best part of Samui to be staying in at the moment with Lamai and Chaweng ground to a halt. You have even got Cynthia tuned into island life.

I use a GoPro hero 9 for the walking vlogs, I also have a canon M50 if I want really good shots. Drone is a DJI mavic mini

Thanks mate, the hotel was called Escape Resort, that room was around 1500 baht per night. There are cheaper bungalows in the resort though

only like 40 Americans did the Samui program so far and up until December 9 there are only about 800 booked tourists for koh samui. pretty sad numbers and times indeed. even with restrictions easing people are not traveling there internationally. a recent survey by Bank of Thailand said 52% of hotels in all of Thailand are planning on closing, some temporarily some permanent. 62% say they will lay off people and reduce workforce to bare minimum. sucks to be in the tourism industry

@@ricmartins8 so much to even with pandemic. And as You said You still have to work. You can also go to neighbouring koh phangan or koh tao. If I could work remote I woul. Hell of an office. Plus many expats to meet.
You said no Quarantine in Samui, unfortunately that's incorrect.
Still need 14 days prepaid in expensive hotels + the pcr test.

The reason Thai laundries are so cheap is because the majority of the girls working their only earn around 40 Thai baht an hour I should know my lady used to work in one so make sure you always leave a tip🤞
