This month, Mulberry Hashi - Mulberry Month, the Choctaw Tribal Language Program presents words and sentences related to the Choctaw Mulberry month and we name monthly holidays in Choctaw. We read clips from a couple storybooks and encourage families to download, or pick-up from our office, Choctaw stories for summer reading. We also listen to clips from recent NEH grant Choctaw language interviews and discuss Choctaw naming traditions.

Our goal is to increase community wide access to Mississippi Choctaw language learning materials and recorded conversations.
