To prevent the game lagging when you sort a chest, press r+c at the same time and it should bring up a settings menu for the sorting mod and change the chest sorting to anything besides the default and it should prevent the lag.

For the filter. You can do forge:ores and it will mine all the ores with that tag.
Sadly, it will not min allthemodium. That's why you should just let it clear the chunks. You can fly through and pick them off afterwards.
@@peterharrell7305 that is when you use the chunk destroyer.
@jameslively4834 the builder is way cheaper than the destroyer. I use the builder as a chunk destroyer until I've got enough to make one. And it functions as an actual builder, which is nice.
It's actually much easier to see Allthemodium without Night vision... for example, you could've easily seen the one at 6:00 if you hadn't put night vision.

I can't believe you found so much allthemodium, I literally couldn't find any in two entire deep dark biomes. I had to kill the warden eventually to get the first one for the mining dimension portal.
On older versions, not too much time ago, there were no allthemodium in the deep dark. I also had to kill the warden and then quarry the mining dimension for allthemodium.
Tbh killing the warden is pretty easy, you just need a sentry turret from pneumaticcraft and it distracts it forever
New suggestion. A max sized Createmod Vault can hold 104k items. Meaning it's a cheaper alternative and slightly better than Vanilla Refined Storage disks. Using a controller, crafting grid, and External Storage Bus means you have an easy way to get 104k storage. This could also be used to compress and void certain items mined with an RFTools Builder in the ATM mining dimension. I've used this set up for a while in my time playing ATM9. It was quite effective for mid game. And most quarry's that go block by block and not something like the Digital Miner. It leaves behind the Allthemodium for easy access. For best results in the mining dimension make sure to set the Builder/quarry to at least 100 chunks. And the only ATM ore in the mining dimension is Allthemodium. Vibranium is accessible only through the nether and the Other. Unobtanium is End only

Until the warden showed up
If you're looking for a particular artifact, mimics work with hostile neural network, if you're familiar.
It creates loot with power and mob data models.
Leveling up the data models for mimics was tedious. I cheesed it a bit by going in and out of peaceful. In peaceful mimics spawn but aren't interactable. Since they're one of the few hostile mobs that are there in peaceful, you can find them using the mini map, then go back to normal and kill them.
Piglichs also work with hostile neural networks. Highly recommend for them.
30 mimics for the basic is brutal though. So much work, and at that point you've already looted most of the rewards.
@@Wynced yeah like I said pretty tedious. I don't know if I got bad rng or there's a rarity factor but I only ended up with 5 unique items by the time I finished going through to basic. And I specifically really wanted the night vision goggles.
@@MaryAlice08hi, you guys probably know this by now but you can capture a mimic using the box in evilcraft and just kill the same one over and over. And yes, I did have most of the items by the time I did this, but not all.
Still tedious but it means you don't have to look for them.
I have found that Ars Neuvaux spell book with projectile break is insanely helpful with breaking the shriekers and sensors etc. for the future in the deep dark!
Since you found the ancient city and bastion, you can get the smithing templates for Allthemodium and Vibranium pretty easy from suspicious clay and soul sand using the brush
FYI unless something is modified in the pack Deep Dark doesn't spawn hostile by default, so you're safe from everything but the warden.
But you can often find the (apotheosis?) spawners with the chest underneath and crying obsidian/mossy cobble on top so it’s worth being careful, easy to trigger the warden by reacting to one of these.
Edit. You can also often find the miners campsites with a mimic chest or tnt trap there too
Id invest in a Dank as they have so much more inventory space than a backpack, it would help a lot with the loot/dip technique :P you can even put them in a backpack i think
The "Twilight Cloak" from the Reliquary mod makes the Warden easy peasy as long as he is fought in total darkness.
Just don't wear it into the nether. It crashes your game when a piglin is nearby.

I seem to remember that solar pannels work best in The End, as its constant day light with no night time.
I love watching your series because I want to play ATM9 myself, but don't have the time to set aside to learning all the mods and exploration etc
you don't need to in that much detail to have fun (not complete the game)

One tip for the Mekanism Metallurgic Infuser, you can use Redstone Dust to power it. No need for an external power generator.

with the shapecard you can just right click the starting point and the end point of where you want it to mine. For example a square starting on the grass layer y253 all the way to the bottom of the world a couple blocks out to make that square.
Idk it's atm9 but mine will not work it just shows zero blocks on the shape card
I'm playing ATM9 and I can shift right click on the builder with a shape card and then select two corners. I do one all the way to bed rock then one on the top grass to make a square for the builder to quarry
I can't believe how much I've slept on the rftools builder being as powerful if not, more powerful than a Mekanism digital miner.

I am pretty familiar with Mekanism so I had started with that pretty much right off the bat. One of the things I got lucky with finding during looting was a scroll (one from Corail Tombstone mod) which granted Allthemodium Sight for 10 minutes. That made finding some much easier. Especially because it was literally my first time in a Deep Dark biome and I wasn't entirely sure how to deal with the shriekers and whatnot. I ended up getting the warden called on me despite being careful, but I only got hit with one of his ranged sonic blasts before getting away. On return I was able to scrounge up 17 of the raw ore. Since I'd already had a Tier 3 ore processing pipeline setup with Mekanism, and Allthemodium works perfect with Mekanisms processing, those and the block of allthemodium ore you get from one of the quest rewards was able to net me 48 ingots. You're obviously planning to do Mekanism melon power at some point... I am wondering if you'll come across the fact they've nerfed that in this pack. The gas-burning generator is only 11% as powerful as usual. The bio-generator, however, has been powering everything for me up to this point. Just feed it bio-fuel (super easy to make, crusher turns 1 wheat into 5 bio-fuels) and keep a big battery around and let it cook.
Here's a tip: Hostile mobs don't naturally spawn in deep dark nor ancient cities, so if you can clear out all the shriekers you can make a pretty cool base in it.

I would recommend using sophisticated backpacks for your mob farm and quarry. Once upgraded you'd have more upgrade slots to use thus more stack upgrades. Can easily be picked up and moved without packing tape.
That is only effective if you can afford the 8 blocks of netherite per stack upgrade for the bags, it's only diamond for the chests/barrels so it works out way cheaper

you can use an ars nouveau spell book for breaking the shriekers or sculk sensors. for some reason the projectile does not trigger the shriekers while sneaking (the sculk sensors do register the sound of something breaking and send signals to the shriekers, but the shriekers dont activate for whatever reason)
I use to use mekanism wind generators for quarries, super nice strategy

You forgot to put Allthemodium into the filter card for the builder! The questbook said that the ore is much more common in the Mining Dimension.

Hold down the vein mine key before you mine the allthemodium to tell if therr are more in the vein but let go before finishing the mining as it will prevent the mining from completing and you will have to start again
The warden isn't restricted to Ancient Cities, as a vanilla mechanic he can spawn in any deep dark biome as long as there is a shrieker that has been triggered 3 times. Doesn't even have to be the same shrieker.
You may already know this, but if you shift right click the builder with a quarry card - you can select the corners you want to mine using it rather than doing it by hand. Also the fortune quarry card is SO much better than non-fortune.
hey chosen i’m pretty sure if u change the depth of ur journey map/mini map you can see under ground rather than above and u can just run above and see below i found that out i think it works fine ancient city in seconds
To dig down with a jetpack and ultimine I use small tunnel to get 64 blocks a pop. Why not just shift right click the builder with the card, and then manually set the two points? And the mining dimension goes through over world, nether, and end. And it had allthemodium. But you'd have to either dig down to darkstone or clear the whole area.
Yea, you'll be back to the ancient city for archeology. You gotta get the ATM smithing template from there.
When i quarry the Mining dimension, i normally just do a clearing quarry and void the blocks at the bottom of the card, Then it will leave ATMium floating in the air so you can see it..
Last time I used the mining dimension, it didnt have the vibranium and unobtainium generated in there and you still had to do the nether/end run for them both. Unless the modpack makers have changed the generation of it
Bro i found 2 back to back, 10 minute long all the modium sight scrolls from corail 🙏 thank rngesus my first allthemodium is gonna be so easy to get, ive already got an insane ancient city too, istg it in the biggest cave i have ever seen, the roof i almost 100 blocks up and the cave just goes on and on even past the city limits lol gonna turn it into my main base location once i clear all the sensors and stuff so the skulk will leave me alone
Chosen, I would love to see you try the From the Fog modpack or something similar.
Don't need a lever on the Builder. You can set it's behavior and toggle it just on and off in there.
Also the Quarry card can be duck right clicked on front top left corner and back bottom right corner of the box you want to quarry, so you don't have to use that math :-) It is quite annoying to go dig to the bottom right corner, but I prefer doing that.
I find it absolutely not user friendly the offset system. Especially when working with even numbers.

i believe you can turn that op diamond pick into a silent gear tool by placing it in your crafting table, i think it keeps the enchants.
For the builder filter, can you just blacklist dirt and stone instead? Or is it only whitelist?
Hy buddy just to let you know if you put obsidian down in the ground, and if you have an enchanted item that you want to get the enchants off of put some books in your inventory with the enchanted item, drop them all on top of the obsidian and drop an anvil on them, and all the enchants will move over to the books

I think a lot of it is simply experience with the mod and then looking at updates to the bigger mod to see if anything interesting was added. You should check out his playthroughs of ATM7 and ATM8, that's how I learned most of it. There's also other content creators that have played the packs like Threefold and AlfredGG (the guy who makes the quests) who have different ways to go about certain automations.

I followd his steps exactly and yet the miner was mining the whole floor and not collecting any ores, on the filter module at the bottom there was a black sign that said blacklisted, which he also had and yet his worked, on mine after clicking it it whitelisted it and then it started to work, im curious as to why his works on blacklist mode while mine wasnt? also for early game power generation I really loved generator galore generators, they do use coal but we already have a farm and they are efficient, getting upto emerald is relatively easy at this stage and each generates 300rf/t, why isn't this used more?
If you make a twilight cloak mobs can't see you when you're in the dark, including the warden

For a moment I was confuse as my quarry did not ask for allthemodium to build the fueled quarry.
turns out that an extra mod I really like was the one messing with it, I guess I have to live without it.
Good thing I was planning to start a different play anyway so I did not get the quarry to easily because of that!
You should upgrade your power a bit and get the chunk destroyer
Tbh I have always wondered something, why does the player hurt sound in all ATM modpacks sound like the cat hurt sound? Is it a bug or just a Easter egg? And how to disable this since it gets confusing sometimes
Its one of the items that goes in your curios slots. If you have the bunny or cat shoes on they will make their respective sound whenever you get hurt.
@@Angel6T4 I don't think that is the issue since the same sound existed for me since I created my world and had to take a bit of fall damage when I fell down a tree, not even a crafting table yet then so maybe some audio file got mixed up

I'm so salted, I've been searching for allthemodium for actual days
Took me almost a whole day to find my first ore. I did somehow find two stella arcanas before my first allthemodium ore.
Does the structure compass allow you to search for the Ancient City?
Allthemodium ore can not be mined with a quarry if i remember right, so its probably best to not use a filter so you get a big hole and floating Allthemodium ore.
Bams searched for so long to find those goggles lol, please play mad pack 5 when they release it. You would kill it

I have done the deep dark/allthemodium process about 4 or 5 times now in different playthroughs, and have never found it in the wild. The first time I cheated one in after 3 hours of searching, just so I could progress. The other times I killed the Warden for the quest reward to get past the bottleneck.
It is literally easier to kill him than it is to find that stuff.
Those mimics always scare me
With your mine builder click the buttons on the right to set the miner to be on a corner of the mined area
I should mention that these ATM Ores are Player mineable only. Not Quarryable. Im pretty sure that counts for builders to.(Not Testet with Builders)

i went to 5 deep darks and found no allthemodium but defeated the warden and went to the mining dimension

Silk Touch -> Squeezer -> Hammer, 4-5x duplication. Or did they patch it out?
So what I saw in the guide all the modium ore spawns only on spawn on surface of cave walls floors and ceiling basically it said it’s very low chance to find underneath stone basically has to be exposed to air
Forge:ore is a simple way to search for ores without setting each up on it own
Nope, Mekanism gas-burning generators (specifically ethylene) got more nerfed than Stephen Hawking in the Olympics. Just about everything else that generates power is better than gbg's now, or at least quickly scales up to easily leave them in the dust. Just about everything else at the lower end got a huge buff as well.
The F5 is strong with this one lol.

What was the specific map mod used for this; when I hit M it loads FTB Chunks map management, but the default map in my corner i believe is Journey Map.

It is better to put stone and dirt in the filter's blacklist to get only the ores
You can set up a warden disabler in vanilla Minecraft you'll have to search it up I've forgotten, also don't want to link other channels without your consent. But that should help for deep dark

You missed a few pieces of allthemodium in the deep dark. Specifically in the ceiling of the ancient city.
I miss the old mek circuit look. the rest makes more sense
but the circuits looked better before

Chosen, all the modium ore acts like a natural like source, so they're easier to see when you can't see,
I think it specifies that you cannot find vibranium or unobtainium in the mining dimension
U can use the portal in the ancient city but u need to defeat the warden first.
Dont stay to long on the bedrock.
