Several social media companies could be reminded of the importance of the First Amendment...just cause you don’t like an opinion, and even if you believe it to be wrong...you do not have the right to silence those who wish to talk about the opinions and/or evidence supporting them. And “community standards” went out of the rule of law many decades ago, so you can’t hide behind those.
The First Amendment is exactly what protects US social media companies’ ability to moderate their services and delete whatever they don’t like. They’re private entities, and have the right to decide what speech they wish to allow (or not allow) the same way individuals have the right to decide what books they will or won’t own.

The gov’t will only impose such controls as needed for safety (speed limits, signage and lighting laws, etc), absolutely nothing with regards to the content of the vehicles (save weight limitations), nor of the opinions of the people within. This is, imho, the status of sites like Facebook, Google, CZcams, and many others. I know some hard-core capitalists and constitutionalists will disagree, but that’s only because they value private property above everything else, including liberty and civil rights.
