Please give me some tips, I need help lmao
If you go behind beasts or other enemies (most of them) you can stagger them with your heavy attack (your weapon needs to have white glow on it witch happens when you hold R2 for longer)
Also you can "brake" limbs of beast bosses and some bigger bosses that will stagger them too

I donât know if you want to do this since itâs optional but since farming for blood vials and silver bullets can be annoying you can use the chalice you got from killing the blood starved beast and kill two optional bosses in the chalice dungeon, in order to unlock another dungeon that gives you a shit ton of blood echos so you can buy blood vials and bullets without having to farm. ive finish sekiro with barely any issue but bloodborne is so unforgiving and annoying to play

@kyle cooper i had more freedom in sekiro cause of the grapple hook and fast pace combat, bigger areas but bloodborne on the other hand is very linear with outrageously strong enemies so early in the game. the problem im having is my character is too weak, everywhere i go bunch of enemies attacking me. i need a strong weapon and some buffs and ill be all goodđȘđ©

I think the beginning of this game is pretty dang hard especially with the limited healing. It just gets progressively easier and easier until the DLC at that point
Father G is supposed to be a major barrier. When i first started playing, I thought id never beat him. After a while the game sortof played itself as I got better and better. The DLC has 3 bosses that are vastly superior to eveything up to that point with the possible exception of Ebrietas. Not for the faint of heart.
I'm playing Bloodborne for the first time right now, Elden Ring was my first soulsborne type of game, and while I think I'm going to end up liking this game more than Elden Ring because the aesthetic is basically tailor made for me, I'm not having nearly as much trouble with this game as I did with Elden Ring. There's definitely a chance it's because of the learning curve, but I had so much more trouble, so often, with Elden RIng.
I played a pure STR build in Elden Ring, with Greatsword and a Skill/Arcane build with the Cane in Bloodborne. STR was weak on release in ER, so I know that added a bit to it, I don't look up stuff about games when I'm playing them the first time, at least not builds, but this feels pretty strong for me. I just finished Ebrietas, I hear the DLC has the toughest stuff so I'm excited for that, though I don't want the game to end, I'm having such a good time with it.
Martyr Logarius is destroying me right now. No other boss I fought before this was this tough

No boss in BB took me more than 10 attempts other than Orphan and Laurence.
In ER, bosses like Radagon, Mohg and Godfrey took a stupid amount of tries. Nothing in BB had delayed and changing timings
@Strabo Yeah, and having finished the main game now, if you compare it apples to apples, ie base game vs base game, it's not even close. ER vanilla is wayyyyy harder.
Not sure if you've done this yet, but applying blood gems to your weapon will increase it a whole lot. In the hunter's dream itll be under "blood gem fortification" just scroll through them until the number on the left turns blue!
Btw, before trying to kill Rom, try killing Darkbeast Paarl first so you can unlock the Bolt Paper at the store in the Hunters Dream
Paarl is still alive after Rom though

Sadly you didn't whittle them all down evenly so there were THREE FREAKING SNAKES!

There are a couple of bosses where whittling them down steadily at the same time is the best strategy.

Great video bro but one thing to note is that the Beast Blood pellets give you an increase in damage proportional with how aggressive you are and attack h the enemy after popping one of them. Thereâs a meter that pops up when you eat one of the pellets and when full, can increase your damage output by 70%
People experiencing BloodBorne for the first time are my favourite content.
I would recommend exploring the area to the left of the Grand Cathedral before getting on to Byrgenwerth and beyond. Also you might want to ha a look around in Oedon Chapel while you're at it.

Yo the beast blood pellets definitely help, when you build that meter up with successive attacks you start doing more damage, the more the bar is filled the more damage you get
Some pro tips from somebody who has platinumed this game.
-Ez mode is Ludwigs holy blade + serrated weapon of choice (whirligig DUH)
Get your VIT to 40+ before the DLC
For your first build, go quality. Even mix of str and dex. Dont worry about Arc or bloodtinge right away. But get your Arc to 16 so you can use the augur of ebrietas. Augur doesnt have the range of the gun, but it deals significant damage and staggers hard even if you miss the counter.
Your timing with the blunderbuss is good, but the hunter pistol is significantly faster. If you arent going bloodtinge, use the pistol.
If your gems suck, you can farm decent ones in the midrange chalice dungeons. If your gems are okay, go find and farm the shit out of some winter lanterns. Thats where the good stuff is.
If you're struggling to upgrade your weapons, the hypogean gaol is a great place to farm 'kidnappers' (aka the bagmen) generally they drop shards, sometimes even twin shards. Ez farm for +6 weapons. There are a few chunks hidden in the forbidden woods so you could in theory get your weapon to +8 before the Rom fight.

Some general tips for you good sir:
I think you might know this one since it may have been in elden ring too, different weapons scale better with different attributes like the sword you got scales better with strength i think and the scaling gets higher the more upgraded the weapon is, so its best you chose one single playstyle and for bloodborne skill is a good attribute to focus on since you do more damage when doing visceral attacks (special attacks you do after a parry) but its your choice alone
I HIGHLY recommend you do eileens questline its cool and you get a great armor set and one of the best weapons in the game, just be careful its very difficult and there are so many rooms for messing it up so maybe look up a small guide
Dont forget the repair your weapons every once once in a while!
Now go out and kill a few beasts, its just what hunters do

I haven't seen anyone mention this, but you can upgrade your weapons inthe hunters dream. It needs bloodstone shards for +1 +2 +3, twin bloodstone shards for +4 +5 +6, bloodstone chunks for +7 +8 +9, and a blood rock for +10

Madmans knowledge increases insight. The little eye in the corner. If you had a torch while in you were in old Yharnam the fire would have scared back enemies, making them easier to deal with.

Madman's knowledge gives you one Insight, you can spend those to summon Hunters to help you against bosses, like you did with Amelia! Or to buy stuff in the well next to the Hunter Dream workshop. Insight per se is a really interesting mechanic ;)
Ludwig Holy Sword is one of the best weapon in the game btw you should level it up

Tip go from the forest to a clinic you will find a letter then go to a boss from the left of Vicar amelia Chamber so you can go to a secret area called cainhurst Castle
Just finished Shadows of Yharnam. Although it could have been a lot easier had I summoned two hunters, I chose not to. It took a few tries but I love defeating bosses without summons. After playing DS3, Demon's Souls and ER, I think this is the best souls game.
Transforming attacks (L1) are so satisfying
I'm sure someone has already told ya but when you killed the blood starved beast, the door to the left of the lamp in the cathedral ward opens and you can proceed without buying that key.
Before you kill the next boss make sure to do any side quests you want, because the world will shift massively
Also go to Yaharâgul and kill Paarl before the next boss

I dont know if anyone has told you while you were playing this, but the people behind those lit doors change dialogue as you progress. Look up the "Yharnamites" its a piece of the games storytelling that i love.

This is my 1st and only souls game. I got good at it after playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, it helped me a lot. Well, like 2 weeks ago I got the platinum trophy, I'm sure you will best the game. Good luck dear hunter

The giants can only be parried when they slam their feet on the ground while their bone gets exposed and then a charging attack will parry them.

Little tip: the enemies that are beast or look like one are weak to hidden stat on saw weapons like the cleaver you used.
The hunters with electricity are not beast thus not weak to the cleaver
I wonder how his fight will go if he challenges the living failure after seeing the fight with the shadows of yharnam, if he even gets to that point, as in if he even takes on the DLC and if he can even get to the boss room with how convoluted that area is, for me anyway.
sad part is, going to kill the blood starved beast opened a shortcut that would have allowed you to bypass the hunter emblem purchase. you actually were able to buy that due to the badge you got from killing the cleric beast.

First time i played Bloodborne it took me 25 hours and i didn't even get out of the first region. After playing the demon's souls remake i got back to Bloodborne and finished in 12 hours. Once you get the hang of the games it's pretty easy, they're RPGs after all, you can cheese your way through most of the game

If there was ever a souls game that deserved a sequel...its Bloodborne. Still my favorite out of all of them to this day. Elden Ring is a great time, but bloodborne was so unique both in ascetic, and world. Trick weapons are awesome too.

For the boys guys once they do a heavy up attack they take a few seconds to get up because there right legs has something in that that hurts it and if you charge heavy it will stagger them and thus you can v attack

Its weird I thought Bloodborne was going to be hard and it was actually easy to me. I am really good at parry so i think that is why. I never got to play bloodborne till about 2 weeks ago. I got a ps5 and played it on it. I love Fromsoft games and bloodborne is now my favorite, I really hope they make another one one day :**D
