- Picked up my BEST ZWIFT RESULT yet, took delivery of the Wahoo Kickr Rocker plate and ate all sorts of crap.

This is a training Vlog, it is nothing more than a simple, quickly put together, summary of my recent training, thoughts and insights. It is not a well produced video on anything in particular so may only be of interest to someone following my training routine (if such a person even exists 😂) Watch at your own risk but, if you are new to the channel, it may not be the best place to start!

Another cracking post. Rocker looks great. Apols if you already know but maybe two tips for you on zwift. If You enter a race, as soon as you log on to zwift join the race event. If you do it early your avatar secures a place at the front of the pen. You can then exit zwift, log on again and go warm up elsewhere in zwift or just go eat a doughnut. Then as the race time approaches rejoin the race event and your avatar will still be at the front of the pen. Helpful on shorter races cos they always start stupid fast etc. Reads more complicated than it is.
Poss tip 2. The tron bike is supposedly the fastest bike on zwift. The one with the lit up wheels that you see some people use. You can only earn this bike by doing 50,000 metres of ascent after first having logged the goal of climbing Everest. If you don’t log that as a goal, metres climbed don’t count to the 50,000. You can’t buy the tron bike from the garage. I have 336 more metres to climb this morning and I get the tron. Like a child in a doughnut factory I’m off to pedal. Enjoy the rocker.

Nice win! Crossing the line at 200w and winning is the correct strategy. Crossing the line at 1200w and not winning means you sprinted way too late. btw the Champs Elysees is a great course for heavier riders. All the climbing is in the first half giving you a really long time time to recover for the final sprint, and the resistance of the cobbles affects lighter riders proportionally much more than heavier ones. The MiniCrit is a handicap race, so the Ds start 1 minute before the Cs which start a minute before the Bs etc. So there's essentially 2 races going on, a race in your category and a race against everyone. I wish they'd put the different categories in different jerseys though.

The Rocker Plate looks good. I own one for two weeks now and riding feels much more naturally.

Congrats. Zwift tip: You can join races up to 30 min before race start. Try to join 25-30 min before to get on the front row - no need to connect anything. You can then continue getting ready, or what I do, restart Zwift and warm up while riding km’s and earning XP, then rejoin race a couple min prior to start.

There is a LIVE tab on Zwift Power which has live updates on the race you are in , it does lag a bit and can be a minute or so behind , but you can cross reference with the riders you can see live on zwift , i always have it up so i can see if anybody isnt registered , so i can disregard them.
Great video mark, always nice when you get your first Zwift win 💪💪 keep an eye on your category on ZP it will tell you when you need to go up to a B . 3.6wpkg is a B rider but it was a short race.

That is what carbs do, create cravings, so you want more- in between the high low glucose levels
as others said - not everyone is registered on zwiftpower - so they will never show, but i’d take your position in ZP as the real result. great video

There should be a link previous to the start filtering out the ZP “influenced” riders.
Could be they are not cheating but just don't have a heart rate monitor, would be easier to stay focussed on the real opponents.
I'll dwell for days on a bad training session. Then I think, "well, I’m down on myself because I always give an A+ performance and when I get a C or a D." Overall average hardly changes though. Consistency beats epic because epic isn't consistent.

Cognitive load during races in high, I wouldnt beat yourself up for getting confused as to your position - its daft that Zwift even displays riders that aren't in the same category as you
I can even accept that but at least give then jerseys with different colours. That's the minimum.
