    Awesome video, Alex! The price is eye-watering, but the tech and the product specs are captivating. On Running really has been asserting itself lately in the elite performance market segment.

    It's great that On are developing their top tier shoes and even though the price is out of reach, no doubt the tech will trickle down to other brands that will offer more budget friendly alternatives. Elite slip ON shoes.

      Yes hopefully this kind of tech becomes more and more available

    I'm very interested to understand the explanation and pros/cons of midsole differences between the Strike and this model, the Strike LS.
    i.e. different hole placement, shape, material, carbon plate, etc.
    great video!

      Regular Strike: drop in midsole (removable), LS: non-removable one-piece midsole with one more "cloud"

    Thanks interesting. I want to see that no lace upper review after 200 kms. Guessing it will stretch.

    Great video Alex,
    If you talk to ON again soon… can you ask if they plan on offering an option to custom print Stryd « loops » on those shoed ? This is what will make the purchasing decision a bit difficult for a few geeks (me included) if they don’t 😅

    • @AlexFilitti
      @AlexFilitti  Před měsícem +1

      Yes they plan to have something. Kristian Blummenfelt used zip ties in Paris for the individual triathlon event, and I also tried gaffer tape but none of these options are really long term oriented.

    Very cool tech. They do look like quite an interesting shoe to try and get on foot.
    How much give is there in the upper?

      Also if you have a shallow foot without traditional laces to tighten up will they move around in them ?

    Alex, I really like your content, it's great. I would like to ask you, honestly, what do you think of this shoe because I'm thinking about it for when it's available again. In terms of reactivity and running economy, do you think it's top-notch, even if it's deeply different in structure from the main competitors such as vaporfly, metaspeed, alphafly, adidas evo endprlhin elite,etc? Which do you think it's similar to or is it a really different running experience? I'm interested in knowing the real benefit this shoe can bring to the athlete in terms of time and running economy. Thanks again.

      Hi Maurizio. Thanks for your nice comment. It's a blend of Metaspeed and Gara Carbon. Maybe the best shoe I've tried in a while - which I don't get to say very often. Hope this helps

    Will this shoe be released to the US and Europe at the same time? - do you know if this will be released before the NYC Marathon this year - this Marathon does fall in Q3 but would like to know as I would like to cope this shoe for that marathon.

    • @AlexFilitti
      @AlexFilitti  Před měsícem

      To be honest I doubt it will drop in time and enough quantity to be widely available at NYC but I may be wrong

      U cant just look at the time they take to actually make the shoe. They probably took years of development to come to this stage, and it has to pay off for them.

    • @Morristung33
      @Morristung33 Před měsícem

      Is this how you value time, is this mean if you do a job faster you should get pay less? If they make this shoe in 3 weeks they should charge 3000 bucks ?
