    Hello from the lower Florida Keys. You have more guts than I do to test the launcher on your own leg. I found your channel while doing research on the ppq launcher. Just made up my mind to order one with a couple of quick pierce magazines. Amazon will have it here Friday. I have a Byrna sd and several other launchers, but wanted someone in .43 cal for my collection. Thanks again.

    Good day. Everything I've seen on these 43 caliber pistols shows the solid aluminum balls weighing about 1.9 grams give the most joules. I believe you would have hurt a lot more using the lighter aluminum round as it would be more powerful than that too heavy round. Also, a simple change of a lighter spring for the valve in the magazine will increase the power. Mike at air funners sells the spring. It is a simple change. Google complete technology solutions where he tested it. They are working on additional mods for power. Thanks for your testing.

      I agree, I’ve commented on various channels testing on human subjects to try the alu balls but none of them have tested them yet. Until then we will have to wait and see if the alu balls are actually a viable option.

    Steel balls are no joke. There is just something about them that always seems to wreak havoc on what ever they hit.

    Do you recommend this gun and metal bullets for self-defense? In Poland, it is very difficult to obtain a gun permit. You have to spend a lot of money and lose a lot of time for a license. Can a Walther and steel balls help a bit?

    • @RapidAssaultDefense
      @RapidAssaultDefense  Pƙed rokem

      @tommy39413 not sure on that but I can say if shot 2-3 feet in the face I think that person might give up but not gonna say it will because don’t wanna mislead you , but I do know this if you want something deadly get a pcp pistol .50 cal that will put down a wolf full grown use that aim for face head neck it’ll kill runs on air but you will need a pcp air compressor also don’t get a cheap one there’s good ones can’t remember the name it’s either AEA or EAE air guns look it up those you can rely on for deadly weapon even a .45 cal will do

      I believe the spring you're talking about is actually for the valve in the magazine. Google complete technology solutions. Jon tested that spring and he says it does improve performance. Mike, at air funners apparently came up with the idea to change the spring with a lighter one in the magazine for the valve. They are also working on newer mods for power on the 43 caliber pistols. Take care.

    Will aluminum rounds penetrate ?

    • @RapidAssaultDefense
      @RapidAssaultDefense  Pƙed rokem +1

      All depends on what we’re talking about penetrating, for example yes and no if it’s a stock like I have possible but then at what feet are we talking ? If modified absolutely but at what feet ? What I can say is they hurt like hell and I would only recommend these to be used in the face for maximum damage these are 4.5 grams per ball
