2020 RAM 1500 Air Ride 5" Rough Country Lift Install

- This 2020 RAM came from factory with air ride, and the only company offering a lift this big at this time is Rough Country! This thing came out sweet! Follow along as we show you the ins and outs of what we went through installing this 5" lift! He kept his OEM 22" wheels and got some 35" Toyo Tires!
Are there detailed installation instructions for the lift with air ride?
The tazer doesn't work on 2022 models anymore. Also, the park assist stops working if setting correct tire size, max setting is 34". Any suggestions?

Any sort of review or possible update on ride quality and feel. Also with the air ride, you mentioned keeping it towards the middle but if you lower all the way when parking, would that be ok? And lastly, what’s your opinion on how this kit might affect towing, such as leveling capability of the air ride, and stability.
There would be no problem lowering it all the way when parking. The air ride system fully works as the factory intended with this kit. Of course with any lifted and modified vehicle the driver must be aware of the raised center of gravity and take that into account in all circumstances. Thanks for watching!
I have a 2020 RAM 1500 2WD have a 3x2 leveling kit with 24x10 on 35s. Want to go higher 5 or 6 inch higher but here in Houston the shops say there's no lift out there for 2020 do u know of RC lift i can use

Can this lift handle any kind of an offset on 35's or even 37's with or without trimming? Glad to find out you guys aren't to far away from me either, I don't trust any shop in my town unfortunately...
Absolutely. Rough Country recommends a 20x9 wheel with a 5.5 Back Spacing. Let us know when you are ready for your project!

Do the factory 22s need spacers with this kit?
I have a 2014 limited 4x4 that I want to install a lift just like this on. Do you know if this kit would fit a 2014?
The Rough Country kit will not, but BDS does make a kit specifically for your Air Ride 2014!

i wonder if the trim spacer work for factory 20" rims?? i am getting the 6" lift w/o air ride and I want to use my factory rims with 35" rubber. Any suggestions?? much appreciated :)
Hard to say. Rough Country State a 9" wide wheel with a 5.5" Backspace.
@@MountZionOffroad called RC and they said I should be good to go with that spacer :)
What is the over all height on this now? Will it still fit in a normal 2 car garage I think 7' high?

I've called a few of my local 4x4 shops in Houston and they've pretty much told me I can't keep my factory 22" wheels and don't recommend the spacer. Any idea why? This is the exact look I'm trying to go for on my 2020 Limited.
Maybe a clearance issue with the kit you're planning to use? We didn't have any clearance issues! So can't be too sure without knowing the details!

I have 2019 Limited and I would love to do the same thing. New tires on factory 22’s and the same lift. Would you mind listing a RC parts list and cost! What a drastic appearance change. Great work.
Also, could the average Joe do this install in a home garage or is a lift required?
This kit is very complex and should only be done by a very experienced shop. I had mine done. I Took the 22s off and went with 35s on 20s. I like more sidewall on my tires.
We recommend installation by a experienced 4x4 shop. If you are close to us feel free to reach out for a quote. We used this RC # 34430A & RC #1065 .25" Wheel Spacers.
