If one of the two aft engines, the boat would turn towards the slower engines side (and not go as fast as it would with all three going with the same power). If the front/center engine, if would just go a bit slower.

Lower compression motor built for boost with big cam profiles and carbs... starts just fine. The first took time because something was forgot, like turning on the fuel pump

Nothing was wrong, the crew was just warming the engines prior to departure.
I do that with most of the cars at the garage i work at .Aston:Martin jags and the odd Ferrari
