Hi Christine, it is almost time for my trip . Leaving tomorrow. Unfortunately I fractured my foot last week but still decided to proceed with the trip . Do you happen to know if hotel offers wheel chairs? I emailed them but never got a reply
Hi Iraida! Oh so exciting and yet so sad that you hurt your foot! I'm sure they will have some (every hotel does in case a guest overconsumes!) but it may not be for every-day use. There are several medical equipment rental places in the area and they will even deliver to the resort. It may be easier to use one of those scooter things that you kneel on with your bad foot leg - it's a little less cumbersome than a wheelchair - especially for getting out to the taco truck & Ceviche station! The concierge can help you out with this for sure.
I would also call your airline and ask them to arrange gate assistance so you don't have to walk through the airport and it'll also expedite you through Security & Customs. I'll see if I can find the name for one of those medical supply companies in the area and will post below. Hope you have a good time despite this!

How is the construction at the property? Heard lots of complains in regards to "property being half open" or " lot of construction noise going late at night" Booked my trip for first week of June. Hope wont be disappointed by that. Thanks for the video
Hi Gabriel! Well they're definitely still doing work on some of the rooms on various floors here on the Hyatt side and the Dreams side will be several months before it opens. You do hear some noise from time to time but I haven't found it particularly annoying - it's sort of like maintenance day at most resorts. That said, it would really depend what they are working on. A few times, they have been drilling into the concrete and that can be quite loud but hasn't lasted long. It's usually done by 5 and doesn't start until 8, so it's workable. Haven't heard any construction at night at all but we've only been here 2 nights so far.
The resort is great with hard working staff and really delicious food, and the rooftop views are gorgeous. As long as you don't expect everything to be 100%, you'll have a great time!
Looks like a lot of shade before the sun hits the pool around? Also how do you get to the beach?
Hi JSil! Yeah first thing in the morning, itβs perfect for sitting there and enjoying your coffee or reading a book but by about 10, thereβs some sun and by noon, itβs full on sun. The rooftop pool area has sun first thing. Havent been to the beach club yet but I know you have to either get a bracelet from the concierge if youβre walking there or there is a free shuttle every half hour. (Free) Iβll probably check it out tomorrow. Stay tuned!

HI Christian! YES you should definitely book it! Stop eating now so you can go nuts on eating while you're here - the food has been amazing! I haven't been to the beach club yet - that's on tomorrow's To Do list. I might do an impromptu Live from there - just not sure on timing. Very impressed so far!!
You think that the dreamβs will be the same price? Planning for my big birthday in the fall. I usually stay at riu palace. Would like to experience something different
If itβs this fall, Iβm not sure Dreams will be open but I would say the Hyatt Vivid rates will start to jump in about 3-4 months so if you want to consider that as an option, Iβd book now so that you get their introductory rates with great cancellation policy.
When is the dreams next door opening? What liquor and drinks are served under the regular category? Should I bring my own from duty free?
Dreams is uncertain but probably not until late 2024 or early 2025.
What type of alcohol do you drink? I can take a pic or let you know what they have.

@@santaortega2198 ok sitting at the beach club restaurant, I can see Chivas, hornitos, Cuervo Tradicionales reposado and 100 Anos. I know Iβve seen don julio but that was back at the resort so Iβll try to confirm if it was in Vantage Club or regular bars. PLEASE remind me if I forget to reply - questions are flying in fast and furious today and itβs hard to keep track!!

are the pickleball courts up and running?
Hi Kathryn! No they've paved the area where they will go but I'd say they are a few months from being done, as they focus on getting all of the rooms finished and fixing the odd thing that needs attention. Looks like they'll have 1-2 tennis courts and a couple of pickleball courts too! Should be a lot of fun!

Hi Pooney! Yes it's outside, across from the main entrance. They have a table and chair and umbrella over there.

Is the spa up and running? If not can you go to another property (zilara) to use it?
This hotel is not part of the same chain as the Hyatt Ziva/ Zilara Cancun and not the spa will be in the Dreams side so it is not ready but they have been doing massages at the rooftop pool and on the 2nd floor. It seems to be working!

Is it a pain getting to the beach ? Is the beach very swimable? If your a beach person would we hate it ? I really want to go here ! Just worried about the beach situation π€·ββοΈ
Hi Cheryl! Havenβt done to the beach club yet so canβt speak to that but I also just came from Sandos Cancun which is right on the beach. I wasnβt sure if Iβd like this place as we drove up because it is very much on the lagoon BUT the rooftop views are spectacular so it really makes up for it. Iβll check out the beach club tomorrow tho (literally everyone here is raving about the food there!!). Stay tuned!

Hi Christine! You bet! I checked the ones in the ground floor and the ones on the rooftop and both were warmish. Not as cool and refreshing as my husband likes but it seemed a perfect temperature for me!

Hi Michal! Yes they have an Amstar desk and a few other tour operators who are here to everyday so thatβs a good option for booking things!

No sorry - my sarcasm is a bit confusing at times but no the food here is delicious. Too delicious. I feel Iβm in a bit of a danger zone where everything I see looks delicious but when you taste it, it actually tastes delicious too. Got to be careful what I choose or Iβll gain 10lbs this week!!!
