When my father’s friend was in end stage cancer we made it a point to visit him every week. This song is one of his favourite one. My children played the music and my wife used to sing this song. The song comforted him and he used to sing with us. I cherish those memories as a precious one .I thank our Lord for using us as a vessel to glorify Him. Praise be to the Lord

I have all my life (80 yrs ) admired.and enjoyed this song. I have great respect and regard for Rev.Samuel Packiyanathan as a poet and lyricist and preacher of gospel . For this song,In all his wisdom he chose this beautiful tune to be befitting for his amazing words.
I think that the tune itself was composed by the great legend Naushad Ali for probably a Hindhi or Urdu Gazal. Please let me know if I am wrong regarding this matter.If what I think is correct and the great Naushad is the creator of the tune, then Praise and glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ for bringing the minds of two great men to create a jewel which we will all cherish for ever.
