This trailer doesn't reflect what kind of movie The Weather Man is. There are definitely moments of comedy, but it's a drama. The goofy music in the background suggests it's supposed to be all funny but that's not accurate. It's good.

I think there is a strange double standard for Nick Cage. Actors like Sam Jackson and Danny Trejo can appear in any movie good or bad, they are not heavily ridiculed by the public. Sam Jackson has a history to play loud shouting individuals and when Nick Cage plays an unhinged or escentric characters. He gets blasted for it.
I like him in most of his roles. Keep going Nick Cage, you're awesome.

Henrik Christiansen yeah really is, found a few underrated gems by Cage the last couple of years, also recomend matchstick men and adaption. And OF COURSE lord of war, but not really a hidden gem.

I liked the movie. It's really depressing. If you are expecting action, this is totally not your movies though. From what I remember, movie reflects weatherman's inner life. So, there is not any action. Movie is based on inner judgment and impressions.
