Good job on the paint..I didn't know you could paint poly-carbonate bodies with crayons.

Fantastic video! Great to see Amazon ramps and a full course set up in your classy living room. And, how much fun your son has watching you make a video! Good karma, from your video. Thanks Jarvin!

Hey Jarvin!!!, I suggested you to buy the carisma gt24, and review it. I bet, you will have a lot of fun with the little miniz killer. It comes with a brushless motor out of the box and its only 140 bucks!!!

Cool video. I already have a transmitter that came with my Kyosho mini z 4x4 jeep. I plan to get this buggy but if you pair it with my heel transmitter, is it easy to switch back and forth between the 2 depending on what car you use?
Also, did you hand paint the outer body or you use a polycarbonate spray and spray the inside of the body. What do you recommend? Thanks!

It's easy to switch back and forth, just have to repeat the pairing process every time you switch vehicles. It may get annoying if you have to do it frequently.
For the paint, I used Tamiya TS spray paint which was the wrong type for the clear bodies. I'll use Tamiya PS next time.

I was wondering, how often do you hear the slipper gear "click" with the brushless? I have the normal one (tho with the x-speed motor) and on high grip tile flooring with the foam tires, I get the click of the slipper every turn / de-accel. I have two buggies as well, and they both do it. So, I was worried about getting the brushless.. with more power I would imagine I would destroy the little slipper gear in a few runs. So, that is holding me back..

Hey man, commenting here since it is your latest video, I am looking to buy a Mini Z MR-020 drift readyset. I am in New Zealand and the only decent place that sells them is around 340 NZD which is around 316 AUD. Do you know of any Australian websites that ship over here? and also if I get new tyres for it, do i need new wheels too or can i use the stock wheels with different tyres? THanks!

You can try rcmart.com based in Hong Kong. My orders from there to Aus take 1.5 - 4 weeks to arrive. Link: bit.ly/3xMRatQ $183USD + ~$36USD shipping to NZ (Auckland) so about $290 AUD. Or check out my other video on where to buy Mini-Z's that might be helpful.
For tyres, you can use the existing wheels, the tyres can come off. I've found the drift readyset comes with really hard tyres that are great for drifting (for beginners like me), otherwise you can upgrade to "DS Racing" brand drift tyres thay may perform better. If you want to use the MA-020 for racing, you can buy soft tyres and put them on the stock wheels and it'll handle pretty well to race with.
