Whether it is Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, Dungeons and Dragons, Frostgrave, or any other wargame on the tabletop, these muddy roads will add some needed ambiance to your dark setting! This is a great way to get started in terrain building for new folks and those that are experienced tabletop crafters as well.

The wizard stuck around to do the outro despite being snubbed in the intro - now that's professionalism!
He needs the attention. Otherwise his powers will fade and his ability to attract people to hit the "like" button will be lost forever... 😑
A wizard does not arrive - nor leave - early nor late. But rather precisely when he means to.
The shortest and best road movie I've ever seen.
Looking forward to making more terrain films!
That intro hit me right in the heart!
Don't you worry, always more goofy intros to come!
A year since his last post and I'm just stumbling on this amazing channel! Amazing terrain videos and probably the most satisfying warcry covers on the web!
Wishing you your hard earned success!
Nice technique. To save one step, you could mix brown/black paint with the acrylic sealant, or just buy brown sealant to start with. Also makes it less noticeable if they get damaged by clumsy players!
Really good idea! I'll do this for when I make another batch.
Quick and easy with a good result, thanks for sharing this! Those tiles look really handy, it’s always tricky to find something that is thin, stays flat and is easy to work with to use as a base for terrain pieces like these. Seems like you found the secret ingredient!
No problemo! And I agree, there are only a few builds that I can’t imagine not using peel and stick tiles.
Great work with these roads Donny. They look great. I need to find some of those tiles I think. Cheers.
Thanks as always Shawn! Once you go peel and stick vinyl tiles, you'll never go back!
nice and simple just the way I like it, I am late to this party o.0
Brilliant idea..I've been struggling to find a suitable material for the base of some roads I'm goin to build and I think u've nailed it....cheers
Thanks again Chief. Peel and stick vinyl tiles are the way to go.
Great idea.
Thanks!
I love the grooves in the road!
Thanks a lot Tina! And it was super easy to do!
Very nice Donny! I might have to do my version of these down the....ehh...road. 😉
Oh no... You had to say it...
Been wondering for weeks how to make french ww2 country side roads, your way is AWESOME thanks loads, first one I've saw but will be a new subscriber
You really took the high road with this video Donny, but I was sad to see you kick your wizard to the curb. Well, The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can.
I'm gonna smack you Dave...
One day I'll up my basing and terrain game
Why not today?!?
@@DiceChatter work 😂

@@DiceChatter I do appreciated . As well I f you have time I invite you to have alook to my channel . Will be a pleasure for me .
Best place to buy these tiles as singles? Every place i go locally in Canada only sells em by the pack (24) and thats way more than I’d need. Yours look amazing and i’d love to emulate them!
As far as I know, larger packs are the only way they are sold. I will say I made 6 roads and went through 3 tiles. Also, I use the tiles for just about every other terrain build as well, so I'd say it is worth the purchase price. But I wish you luck finding singles!
Does the cover on the sticky side ever come loose?
Great video. Thanks
I generally remove the cover paper over the vinyl tile so this issue doesn’t occur. Just a little PVA and it’s no longer sticky!
Hello, it was a serious question. I bought the tiles yesterday and see how it works. No problems at all? Thank you.
@@DiceChatter Ah thank you. That was to have been my next question/move. The devil's always in the detail. Cheers.
Hi again, unfortunately I've added neat pva glue to the sticky side of the tile, to no avail - it's sticky as ever. Tried it twice. It's now difficult to hold to bevel, or to apply caulk to. Any thoughts on what I might do? Thanks
@@stephenbarker7793 I'd suggest taking some regular paper and pressing it down on the surface to replace the cheaper backing paper the tiles come with. You'll need to trim it off again, or you can apply it before cutting. I'm curious about warpage, I've had that happen with floor tiles, but I was using cheaper ones, better quality ones or thickness may help.
100 videos landmark
Oh yeah! I guess it is. Maybe I should had done something special...?
@@DiceChatter maybe. Also ur Channel got me into warcry so thankyou for making amazing videos
Do they take you home, to the place you belong?
hahaha! Of course they do!
