Years ago, I posted this song to my Twitter stating that I didn't know how I missed such a great song when I was growing up in the 70's. To my surprise he replied to me thanking me for the post. What lovely gesture.

I had it happen with Peter Hook on Reddit way back. I missed an AMA. Like two days after I posted a comment.. kinda baring my soul a bit, about how JD and his bass playing were very helpful in me not losing control of things and I was able ti stay afloat.
He replied about an hour later saying something like “wow, I appreciate it and am honored we could help you mate” and I about melted in my chair. I remember I saw it on a particularly rough day at work on a quick smoke break and rest of the day I was so calm.

I remember when my dad busted this out of his vinyl and said listen carefully son.
In 86 I was 5 hearing this song for first time when days are tough I listen to it during long drives up the mountain roads. I love that I got the dad I did.
Still have the album on vinyl.
    Thanks Terry

Arguably one of the best and most creative guitar players walking the planet in 2023. There arent enough superlatives to described Terry. You are lucky to have seen him play.

I've been listening to him since 1969. I had a Terry Reid Album poster over my dorm bed. He is so underrated. He plays an acoustic guitar much better than this. Listen to his "May Fly", "July", "To Be Treated Right" and "Bang Bang" from very early albums. Rob Zombie made him relevant to later generations including my son. But he's always been a great writer snd musician. 0:02

That would be funny as hell if it was just a very crazy old British guy who knew how to play and sing the old Terry Reid parts, said cheers and just ambled down the sidewalk after the gig, where Terry Reed was running late and then can be like "whaddya mean who are you, I'm blummin well Terry Read, innoy?
