This fabulous Kadhi Pakora is my mother-in-law’s treasured recipe of making the traditional Punjabi Kadhi with onion pakora. Here the crispy onion fritters are dunked in a spiced, savory, tangy yogurt sauce. A recipe she has been making for ages and loved by all of us.

    INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THE RECIPE:
    FOR MAKING KADI
    1/2 Cup Besan
    2 Cups Curd
    1 tsp Haldi Powder
    1/2 Red Chilli Powder
    5 Cups water
    2 Tbsp Oil
    A Pinch of Hing
    1 tsp Mustard Seeds
    1 tsp Jeera
    1 tsp Coriander Seeds
    3 Green Chillies
    2 Inch Ginger
    1.5 tsp Salt
    Coriander Leaves
    FOR MAKING PAKODA
    1 Cup Besan
    1 tsp Salt
    1/4 tsp Haldi Powder
    A Pinch Hing
    1/2 Cup Water
    1/4 tsp Baking Soda
    2 - 3 Green Chillies
    1 Inch Ginger
    Coriander Leaves
    Oil For Frying
    FOR MAKING TADKA
    2 Tbsp Desi Ghee
    A pinch of Hing
    2 Dried Red Chillies
    Curry Leaves
    1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
