Man that thing gets stuck so much that they don't even pull him out half the time. They waited last time until they were headed out. He gets that thing stuck first on every recovery operation 🤣. Chill on the memes.

i still rember seeing one of these big Snowcats the first time as a child. you can see them carving out halfpipes and big fun parks in the ski resorts. AMAZING!

The easiest move would have been to plow the road before they started the first recovery attempt. But he chose brute force instead.

Said before saying it here , that big green flatbed rollback unit is not only a custom brain child of HeavyD. It is one of a kind , for a reason !
The amazing thing is no one got hurt, there were so many things that could go wrong. All the cables and chains, the cold, the snow, guys being hungry and tired equipment problems each in itself a recipe for disaster. Great job everyone.

I found this channel because of Robby Layton and his wonderful team. You are right, they do have an incredible work ethic and they are also very generous and very kind. It is also a channel that people with young children can also watch as they always keep the language family friendly for those that such things still matter. That isn't a criticism of channels that choose to let the language flow freely.
This was by far the most hysterical recovery. Great bunch of guys.

it’s because of the ‘Dead Tracks’ , that it’s able to do that , because you notice that the tracks throw up a lot of snow when it’s moving

One of the things my husband and I have commented over and over is the work ethic you all have. It’s one of the reasons we watch your channel- it’s allowed us to show our children what can be accomplished with hard work and determination. Good work ethic is hard to find now a days, and I pray my children are the exception and show those around them how to be hard workers.
Great work! I watch Robby Layton regularly. Both versions of this are awesome. Robby's channel is a family channel with a body shop theme. He does awesome body work as seen with the Golden Nugget collab.

HeavyD is probably the best offroad recovery channel that I’ve seen. Sometimes I wish I could be there for some of the recoveries. Keep up the awesome work HeavyD👍

Part 1 was pretty funny at points. Part 2, because I just watched part 1 had me in tears with some of the fill in parts. I also have a pulled rib muscle which was just aching from laughing! Great great recovery!
I'm 72 y/o now and both parts 1 & 2 brings back memories of my selvage efforts. I especially liked the winters. I don't know where I heard it, but "You can dress for the winter easier than being almost naked", ha ha. Cool video.

I am glad that you all got that heavy equipment up and back down the mountain and it is probably because y'all was working together and staying positive the whole time and that's what it took to get it done and it was pretty cool to see two CZcamsrs doing the same thing. as one team together and no one got hurt.
The foreshadowing "jump cuts" are hilarious. My first thought early on is the green machine needs front axle drive. I'm sure other people had the same thought. That and loading it to the max with other gear just for traction. I wondered what good the ranger PU was going to do. I also wondered why the first order of business was not using the snowcat to plow a bunch more snow before they even attempted the ascent.

Handy Hint ::: Always carry a couple of pallets ... reason being is balancing one pallet on the edge the other pallet...it's a much better surfing pose on the bed of a moving flatbed truck.... it's way more fun!! 😎👍
That was seriously one of the most stressful, entertaining and satisfying videos I’ve seen on @heavydsparks channel, and I’ve seen them all going back to the beginning. Just getting the rollback up the mountain would have been enough content for this video, but then you add the actual recovery, The Wizard climbing and falling in the snow, Bud trying to get the ranger up the hill, and Hans being Hans, and you’ve got CZcams gold. Well done boys, we’ll done.
