  • Discover what sets the Saucony Hurricane 24 apart from other max-cushioned stability running shoes on the market. Hint: Exceptional energy return.
The Saucony Hurricane 24 pairs plush, energy-returning PWRRUN PB super foam with a supportive PWRRUN foam frame - to deliver an incredibly soft, plush, energetic and stable feeling ride.
Center Path technology, featuring a broader base and higher sidewalls, offers extra guidance and support as and when it's needed.
The rare combination of soft cushioning, exceptional energy return and support on offer in the Hurricane, make them a standout contender for slow to steady paced daily miles, recovery runs and long distance runs.
The Hurricane 24 should suit a lot of neutral runners seeking additional comfort and support for recovery days/long runs. As well as runners with instability in their feet and ankles, looking for comfortable and protective stability running shoes.

Interesting. Once you get your hands on the New Balance More v5, I would be curious about that compare & contrast. Seems they are both attempting to remain fat & stable, without feeling like a dead experience.

      Hi. Thanks for your comment.
We haven't run in the New Balance More v5, but we have done a lot of miles in the 1080 v13. The Fresh Foam X cushioning feels pretty different to the PWRRUN PB foam in the Hurricane.
In summary, while Fresh Foam X feels very soft, and does offer good energy return, it doesn't feel nearly as resilient as Saucony's PeBa based PWRRUN PB foam. As a result, the Hurricane will probably feel a lot bouncier underfoot, and the midsole is less likely to bottom out.
It's fair to say the More v5 and Hurricane 24 share a lot of similar attributes. However, the superfoam in the Hurricane is likely to offer a much more energetic experience.
If you're looking for a bouncy, yet stable underfoot ride, it's hard to look past these.
