    this is what the "machine" or what Alderman Marzullo would rather say, the organization was all about.
    Knowing that there position would be in trouble if they didn't deliver not only the votes, but the vital City services via the Aldermanic office, it made these captains stay on top and duly serve their constituents.
    Everyone knows theres bound to be corruption in politics, especially in our great City of Chicago, but it was the City that actually, worked.

    What was the Chicago Machine in the 1950's, 1960's and the 1970's is Las Vegas Nevada Today, just ask The Goodmans

    Funny how there were actually places to work in that neighborhood...they did away with all those jobs real good.
