I actually take that back, ive listened to the album all weekend and its blinding
My new favourite band!
Listened to this while recovering from heart surgery in the hospital. Very good vibes helped me make it through some dark days. Great band
Wishing u the best William hope all is well now mate
DMA's the best
Genuinely one of my favourite songs.
0:58, simply amazing
First time I listened to this song was a few years ago when I woke up with a huge hangover after the party and someone had that track in stories on Instagram. Loved it, felt like heaven
Mark my words these lads from Newtown, Australia. Will become one of the, if not the biggest bands to leave our Aussie shores, although these days Aussies are only into what's trending in and at the moment. These guys are innit for the long run and a BIG run thats for sure. Mark My Words.
I got recommended these by a friend about six months ago - he said I'd like them and they were really good. He wasn't wrong
This song is amazing!! ❤
Damn that's beautiful..
Possibly my favourite DMAs song
*BLOODY TUNE* 👌
love, love, LOVE it...
proberly the best band out
Digging the vibe. Thanks for the heads up, Pinky!
This guys deserve more recognition !!!!!
Soooooo much
Great song, been listening to it loads during my commute to uni along with Lay Down and So We Know. Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all.
In the top five songs ,,with made of stone.. great tune lads ,,see u at the alhambra on my birthday..... buisness...
Great tune
DMA's r a quality band what a talent Tommy O'Dell is and Johnny, Matt also. Think it is sorry forgotten his name exactly third member, anyway good to have seen them live twice. Both times in Fremantle here in Australia
great music always stepping up the morphine
Sounds like this , sounds like that ....fuck it ...sounds good to me
Oasis / Trashcan Sinatra’s
Only just been shown these guys but they are incredible. Beautiful lyrics and music.
Awesome x
fav song from a fucking good album
Good song
our rising sun
Mega cool 1
❤️
This brings me back to 1994, the first time I heard "Whatever" by Oasis off a Smash Hits compilation...I'm 36 now....
oh my friend ... this remind me oasis soooo much ..
Brazil ❤
Boa !
These guys had to be Oasis fans. They embody what Oasis was when they were at their best...
The influence is clearly there, among many others. I feel like DMA's write more intricate pop songs than Oasis ever did. Both great bands.
They sound nothing like oasis, stop repeating nonsense. If anything, they sound like the Roses.
They don't sound "nothing like oasis" the influence from both bands is obvious.
DUNPHISH64 please.... just shut the fucking hell up.... Really....!!!
Try Flowered Up, The House of Love or the Pyscadellic furs and your getting warm... Oasis...No, sorry, you’re way off target... Admittedly- speaking very loosely - at best, there is a faint resemblance to one/two Oasis B-sides (namely Underneath the Sky and Listen up) but that’s it. Even the Roses reference is tenuous; how can a band sound like the SR without a proper rhythm section, when Ian Brown and the boys were the blackest white lads this side of Harlem? Really... if you think this is reminiscent of Oasis at their peak, in sound or scripture, then I question if you were even alive in the 90’s!
Bit surprised the album tracks that aren't singles are quite slow and not as good. Still a cracking band though, remind me of the start of my oasis obsession.
+27shocking art is subjective, personally I love it
YOU TAKE THAT BACK
This is the best song on the album
The song that oasis never did
Heard all the oasis comparisons I'm thinking crowded house/Neil Finn also
Stone Roses as well
Found this on Pandora
Losing expression
Facing the order
Step up the morphine
Stand by my side
Bored of rejection
Caught in the heavens
Planning a new one
Taking the sky
You were the silence in my brain
I'll tell her by the weather
We built a kingdom in the rain
I think we're getting better
Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all
Under impressions
Growing and cooking
Sideways and under
Cure my glances
Fortune and memories
I should be loathing
I couldn't find you
And I shouldn't care
You were the silence in my brain
I'll tell her by the weather
We built a kingdom in the rain
I think we're getting better
Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all
I ll rise to the sun
Sitting in the back of the ride
I ll rise to the sun
Sitting in the back of the ride
Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all
Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all
Grant me a new one
I'm growing slowly
Sign of reflection
Queued by a goddess
Loaded and ready
More than I wanted
Step up the morphine
The beginning sounds like the start of Fine Friend by the Pale Saints
sounds like the dma's to me!
The start also reminds me of an up-beat version of Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby by Cigarettes After Sex
G4
D4???
9 people in this world have no taste in music
Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all...
Love that line so much
