  • Born with two toes and no ankle (a condition known as fibular hemimelia), Robert’s mother made the decision to amputate his foot. As a below-knee amputee, he learned how to overcome obstacles and navigate life, leading him to find a passion in adaptive sports.
After discovering Hanger Clinic, Robert found more opportunities beyond a prosthetic leg, allowing him to compete in Team USA Soccer, marathons, iron man competitions, and more. Robert’s success proves that people with limb loss can pursue anything they set their minds to.
Robert's passion also lives in the amputee community. At a young age, he knew that he wanted to work in the prosthetic industry. To this day, he gives back to the limb loss community by working as a Hanger Clinic employee.
Robert’s incredible journey is a true testament that endless determination can lead to living life to the fullest.
