Delta Economy Comfort Plus seats 10J & 10K
Our first time on an A330 and with Delta.
The plane had a 2 class set up with business class at the front then Economy. Comfort Plus is at the front of Economy. We had seats 10J & 10K right at the front of the economy cabin.
We liked how the side rows were only 2 abreast. The plane did not feel as cramped & crowded as say a 777.
No wonder Delta are often ranked best US airline in world polls. We were impressed by little things like the Captain walking down & saying good morning to everyone, proper Starbucks coffee, limitless bar & snacks. Economy Plus is worth the few extra pounds for the legroom, meals, priority boarding, pillows & blankets etc. I believe they give you a welcome cocktail as well now. We felt it wasn’t far off the Premium Economy of some other airlines.
We did benefit from the misery of British Airways customers whose flights were cancelled due to a pilot strike so we were able to leave early & had the taxiways & runways all to ourselves. The plane left the gate & did not stop until we arrived at the gate in Boston. Have never seen Heathrow like this until the COVID 19 travel ban kicked in.
