I have been playing drums for 11 years now and still can't get that fucking solo Tre does in this song. You fucking pull it off perfectly man.

Part 3 of the solo is the toughest. Difficult sticking pattern.

@@foragingadventures Woah bud, calm down. No one needs to get mad and starting calling people names here. This song isn't very hard, it's just the speed that makes it difficult. This was probably considered advanced for a beginner player.
I would say it is hard. There are many elements, like the solo, that take a lot of time to nail, and it is high speed. Leave it to CZcams commenters to immediately proclaim any song easy when they’d probably screw up many parts of the song

Great cover! I get a little tilted when people don’t hit the crashes every other hi hat like Tré does because that’s what makes the drumming so unique for Green Day. Thanks for staying true to the cover and having such attention for detail!

I love how little space Tre needs for his drum solos. They always fit the song rather than feeling like the whole song is just a drum solo. By the time you realize it's a drum solo he's already out of there
Very well done. I've been playing this song for 30 years (yes I'm that old) when I was in high school. I could never get the solo down that well.

I know this is an old video and you might not respond, but how did you get your hi-hat to sound so good? I have just a snare mic and when I play the hi-hat I can hear the clink of the tip of my stick hitting it.

sounds almost perfect! your snare seems to be a little too high/tight (im no drummer but it kinda sounds that way) everything else is perfect.
It's tuned looser than Tre's snare
