Great review. Thanks again - the allotment is so calming. Maybe its just me, but I can't get onto the mizunara bandwagon. I get the sandalwood and anise, but otherwise I just get pine resin - like drinking Greek retsina (which I find awful). Glad Dr. Bill is trying things, but interestingly, the best Japanese whisky is not in mizunara......

Mizunara does seem to be a hot topic at the moment and it will be interesting to see if it is a passing fad or here for the long haul. The casks and flavours are challenging and agree with you about many releases being a little disappointing and imbalanced. This is one of the better ones in our view 😊🥃
