That moment of happiness at 36:54 when you lifted the guitar up held in by the neck friction - I felt the same when I did mine. It's such a good feeling!!!
A great video. Who knew that building a guitar was one part craftsmanship and one part artist! And… if live stream is easier I say go for it. We can always fast forward if needed.
hello Daniel, another great episode thanks for taking the time to explain in such detail all your processes and why you do it in such a way, its a stanley no78 that you need for cleaning/creating the rebates, i have one surplus so if you are ever unfortunate to have to visit the terrible island off your coast i'd happy donate it to you.
I've seen some guitar builders put the neck angle onto the actual heel of the neck rather than in the neck pocket. Curious to know why you chose to do it the way you did. I have a set neck guitar planned but have never done it before and am looking for insight into the different methods for having a neck angle. Love the videos!
It is such a unique and unconventional thinking instrument. I can't wait to see it finished. Out of curiosity, your workbench would be perfect for a tall fellow like me. Is it a Dutch brand that sells it?
@@UnquendorGuitarsI built my first scratch guitar to my own design last year, your videos really helped my process, thanks Daniel😊😊. Enjoy your building.

I like your neck alignment method. Beautiful workshop. Good audio and lighting. Great seeing you work things out. Thanks.

You could extend 10 cm long to neck pocket template outside of the guitar to guive more stability to the router :). Nice job👍👍👍
Great Job Daniel!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
You are the Max Verstappen of luthiers!
Great episode !!
Nice video Daniel

Thank you.
My workbench is a Sjöberg Duplex. Sjöberg is a Swedish brand and is, I believe, widely available.
I really like ur channel and how time u take with the guitars
Daniel, thanks for your masterclasses.......can i ask how long you've been a guitar builder?
My first guitar restoration project I did many, many years ago.
Building my first guitar from scratch must have been around 7 years ago.

Put the neck angle on the bottom of the neck
Thank you,,not live today,or have i missed it?
Fortunately you didn’t miss anything.
No live premiere today or the coming week. I currently have limited internet access to attend live events.
@@UnquendorGuitars Nae probs Daniel,,video is excellent as always👍👍
What is the model of the pillar drill you have?
It’s the Bosch PBD40
@@UnquendorGuitars Very cool. I will definitely loom into that. I have a cheap ryobi benchtop drill press that is not fun to work with.
